JJs did a great job with my suit. I wanted it to fit like a fashionable suit and not a womens business suit so I purposely searched online for a design I liked and knew I'd get it tailored so that it was more custom. I was worried wherever I took it would make it into a feminine business suit, which I already have and dont want more of. I took it to JJs and explained what I wanted done and how i wanted it to fit, more modern and neutral fitting. He took my feedback and also offered suggestions. He wasn't pushy and didnt rush me during the fitting. The cost was decent, a bit pricey but not unreasonable ($30 more than expected) but he did a great job and finished it on time for my event. My friendly advice to JJs to make an event better experience would be to make it easier to contact and get pricing estimates before coming in, even if it is ballpark estimates on the site with a range for each type of service. I also would suggest offering incentives of some sort for people to continue to use your tailoring or that refer your services to others. I'm a 6'7" athletically built man who struggles to find nice cloths that fit. I use to spend hours in department stores trying to find the look I wanted in my size. It took a lot for me to finally pursue the idea of custom clothing, but my experience with JJ has quickly changed my perspective forever! I spent 20 minutes looking through fabrics and letting him take my measurements. After this, he made 4 shirts for me and they fit better than I could have imagined! I recently visited JJ Custom Tailoring with an off the rack tux that I knew needed significant changes. At JJ's, he competed a full rework of the tux: hem up on the inseam, tapered the pants, shortened the sleeves, tapered the jacket perfectly in the shoulders and torso, and added buttons for braces.
