Administering a payroll system can be time consuming and strenuous for any employer, but is one of the most important things to get right. There are not only certain obligations that you have to adhere to by HMRC, but also you need to ensure you have compliant software and keep up to date with any changes in legislation. This coupled with managing holiday calculations and staff training can often be time consuming, so why not consider outsourcing the following to us:

*PAYE Real Time Information (RTI) (as from 6 April 2013)
*PAYE monthly/quarterly returns
*P11D calculation and submission
*P45/P46 for new starts and leavers submission
*SSP/SMP/SPP calculations and recovery

We use fully compliant and up to date software and can operate your payroll for you on either a weekly, fortnightly or a monthly basis. Included in our fee is the provision of payslips for each employee, monthly reporting summaries and all end of year forms (P60s).

The law on workplace pensions has changed. All employers are legally required to automatically enrol certain staff into a pension scheme and make contributions. HMRC have already started notifying companies when their staging date is to have a scheme in place. You will also have to tell your staff about the scheme you put them in and allow other staff to join if they request to do so.

This can be complex area and if you don't have everything in place before your staging date you may face penalties and enforced action from the Pension Regulator if you fail to fulfil your duties under the Pensions Acts 2004 and 2008 and regulations. These penalties can range from fixed fines of minimum £400 up to between £5,000 and £50,000 in addition to daily fines of between £50 to £10,000!

To avoid being penalised you must:
*Provide your employees with information about your duties
*Automatically enrol all your 'eligible workers' into a pension scheme
*Put all your non-eligible workers who decide to opt in, into the pension scheme
*Provide written confirmation to your eligible workers that they have been enrolled, and telling them how they can opt out if they want to
*Make sure any eligible worker who wishes to opt out from the scheme is removed, and their contributions refunded
*Submit a Declaration of Compliance to the Pension Regulator, providing details of your scheme
*Continue to review and automatically re-enrol eligible workers every three years, if they have not joined another pension scheme in the meantime and renew their registration
*Keep records of the enrolment process

It is important that you get things right from the very beginning, so why not let us help with making sure you are compliant and do not fall foul of the Pension Regulator. Our fees to take care of all of your requirements under Auto Enrolment start from as little as £250.
