This used to be such a great place, but it's really gone down hill and prices have gone up.

Studio floor is usually really dusty and the mats, blocks stink!
Bathroom sink normally leaking and the lock on the door has been broken for months.

Reception and changing area is a mess and no proper place to leave bags and your stuff.

Some of the classes are still really good, but a lot have got really bad. Some very inexperienced teachers but paying full price.

Not got to bother taking out another membership

I'm saddened to see the previous review. I've been going for two and a half years and love the classes. Certainly, classes are sometimes covered by outside teachers with slightly different styles but it just adds to the variety. I always find the teachers and staff friendly and helpful. I'll be renewing my membership. More...

I recently attended some classes at Jiva Health Wimbledon. Their instructors were very nice. Sadly, their yoga mats stink of sweat. They have sprays available for wipe down at the end of the session but they don't see to work. When I gave them polite feedback, they sent a dismissive response and said they are always 'improving along with industry guidelines'. Each class is £15 - one would expect higher hygiene standards. Visit this studio at your peril - and do hold your breath when doing child's pose. More...

I signed up for the 10 day intro offer.

The receptionist when I arrived wasn't at all helpful on friendly. She also took the class and it was really poorly organised, very little help offered or proper instruction and incredibly basic.

Tried a few of the other classes - the hatha (suitable for all levels) was more like a boot camp/power yoga class.

Studio floor was dusty. Facilities are basic. Considering the monthly cost or class cost there are much better options elsewhere. Won't be going back.

basic classes with no alignment cues or adjustments offered. tried a couple of the flow classes and very strange sequences that didn't flow at all. the beginners class, taught by the same person, was really poor - we sat around for 20 minutes discussing our goals (although there wasn't much discussion) with hardly any warm up, no alignment given and fairly random - it felt like we were intruding on someones home practice rather than being in a class and being taught, More...

Experienced instructors, friendly staff with a great sense of humour - that's what you need to shake off the bad Chi, leave your worries by the door and ease yourself into each lesson

I first went to Jiva Health in Earlsfield as I had a painful lower back. I called Tish to understand whether the Vinyasa Flow class would help my back and I went along to a free class to to see if it suited me and it did. As my core strengthened, my back pain eased and as I continued my practice, my back pain went altogether. Tish is a supportive, considerate and a very experienced yoga instructor, with over 10 years’ experience. Tish understood my pain and instructed me on which poses I should initially avoid and how I should build to gain strength. I’m still pain free! Yoga at Jiva Health really improved my back health. Thank you Tish. More...
