We hired this company for a birthday party, outside in 110 degree weather (oops)! JD was the most amazing server, friendly, helpful and working non-stop, oftentimes going above and beyond his role to help out with whatever we needed. He brought to-go containers for leftovers which as great. The food was AMAZING, displayed beautifully and no one had a single complaint. Let me share my highest recommendation for this catering company! I decided to change a club meeting into a Luau party on a Wed  - and needed catering on Sat. It was only a menu for 12 people - but Jimmy's communication was excellent! He emailed me within a short time of my request - we discussed menus, price point, and details.Daniel delivered the delicious food (the pulled pork was the BEST I ever had) at the exact time quoted to be at my house.Instead of a drop off - they even provided a heated chafing dish, nice bowls and all metal utensils. Jimmy T's just catered our son's wedding and we could not be more satisfied. We worked with Jimmy the past year as we navigated the challenges Covid-19 threw our way. Ultimately the wedding downsized from 100 guests to an intimate gathering of 39 in our backyard. Jimmy remained positive, supportive and most of all flexible and eager to please. His very professional staff (shout out to Chany, Robbie, Jessica and Daniel) are the best and went above and well beyond to provide the very best service. Jimmy was so pleasant and friendly.   He helped my daughter put together her bridal shower menu, it was delivered on time and everyone enjoyed the food.  The meatballs were absolutely delicious, as was the bruschetta.   What I really appreciate the most is that Jimmy followed up the next day or so to make sure all went well and to find out if anything could have been better.    He has great integrity and truly cares about making sure everything is/was perfect.   I will definitely call him up for our next gathering.   Thank you, Jimmy!!!!Deb Olberding More...

GREAT experience.....planned a large birthday party event and Jimmy walked me through the entire experience...back and forth with RSVP' s that were changing, menu options etc---- Staff that came to our house were professional, friendly, on time;  Guests loved the food-  Needed food for 40....had so many leftovers we can eat for weeks;  Especially nice was we had a guest who could not eat nuts ( I did not know )...the salad had nuts and our server offered to make her an individual salad without nuts...Would use again! Jimmy T's did the catering for my father's celebration of life that I held at my home in Roseville. The owner is amazing! He had a quote in my hand within 30 minutes of talking to him, he followed up, made suggestions and changes to fit our budget, and arrived on time .  The caterer that he sent (so sorry forgot his name) was absolutely amazing! He was professional and did an incredible job with replenishing and just being friendly, and he was on time. We had Jimmy T's cater our graduation banquet for over 100 people for the third year in a row, and there's a reason we keep coming back. Jimmy T's food is EXCELLENT, Jimmy is so accommodating and really listens to feedback, the staff is professional and considerate. There's ALWAYS leftovers, and he ensures there's plenty for everyone. I especially love the cheesy mashed potatoes and tri tip! Jimmy T's goes above and beyond to ensure the event is a success, and I so appreciate the quick responses and attention Jimmy gives. Jimmy catered my wedding in September 2018 in Nevada City and he and his crew were fantastic! The food was unreal, especially considering that it was a buffet for 65 people. Jimmy is so kind and truly wants to do his part to make your special day as seamless as possible. He understands budget concerns and is very realistic with you about what stuff you could cut to save money -- he doesn't try to sell you on everything just to make more money for himself! I also love that he can plan well enough to not have any waste. We had a bit of entrees leftover at the end of the night but nothing crazy. And pro-tip: his appetizers WILL run out because they're so delicious so make sure someone grabs appetizer plates for the bride and groom ahead of time. <br><br>His staff was so friendly and helpful, we hired a bartender through him as well to help pour wine for our guests. The wait staff also helped move all of our ceremony chairs to the dinner tables and setup our donut bar in the middle of dinner so they didn't sit out for too long. I really can't say enough about how much Jimmy T hit it out of the park at our backyard wedding.  I called him to get a sanity check because the price a competitor was asking seemed so outrageous.  Jimmy charged us roughly ONE THIRD as much as they were going to charge us.  And what would paying triple the amount have bought us?  I don't know.  Seriously more than half the guests came to me with (unsolicited) feedback about how delicious the food was.  Not just a single item, either... our guests reported that they were big fans of the chipotle raspberry pork meatballs, grilled salmon with dill sauce, butternut squash ravioli w/ roasted sage (that was a specialty item that he prepared at my request and guests just loved it), and more.  And, not a single complaint.<br><br>And here's a little gem of info for all ye yelpers: I used to be banquet manager at a facility that really has its act together, both in terms of food quality and quality of service.  We catered many weddings each year.  Two of the guests at our wedding were coworkers of mine, and are still banquet managers at the same facility.  If anything was less than top notch when it came to the food or service, they would have noticed and I would have heard about it (in all honesty, as the groom I might not have noticed a problem directly, I was just too busy.).  But of course there were no such problems, and they reported they were impressed that the service staff was on top of everything throughout the night.<br><br>And finally, the man himself was very central to the operation for our event.  Frankly, Jimmy is exactly the kind of guy you want for a catered event, for many different reasons.  He is as flexible as they come, very approachable, heck at my request he added an entire menu item the day before the event!  His honesty, fairness, and dependability was apparent from my first conversation with him.  He's the kind of person I'd want in my corner if something went wrong or the unexpected happened, not just because I'm confident he'd know what to do, but also because I know he'd have my back... because that's just the kind of guy he is. Jimmy T's is the best. Our homeowners association had a post-holidays party last Sunday and I contacted Jimmy the Tuesday before. Unfazed by the short notice, he went through the menu with me and my wife and we selected three dishes. Delivery was timely on Sunday and the food was superb. A number of guests thanked me for choosing this caterer. The favorite item was the pulled pork sliders with BBQ sauce. My brother hired Jimmy T's catering for his wedding a few weeks ago, it was 110F outside that weekend. His team had to make some adjustments to the menu to prepare for the heat and they delivered a fantastic meal! My husband and I recently hired Jimmy and his team to cater our wedding.  The food was AMAZING!! Everyone complimented us/Jimmy on his meatballs, bruschetta, and chicken dish (I believe it was the grilled chicken).  <br><br>Jimmy made the food-piece of the wedding a breeze - he listened to our concerns, allowed us to make multiple changes to the menu, and helped us find ways to keep costs fairly low (which is important if you're funding your own wedding).  We are SO happy we went with Jimmy T's! Sometimes the best reviews are those that have some issues integrated into the process. <br><br>When I contacted Jimmy for a Celebration of Life gathering in a home, I needed to be sure there were no hiccups. There is enough stress when a family is planning a memorial service -- food should not add to that experience with additional stress.<br><br>Jimmy was very easy to work with in planning the menu and was able to communicate back and forth with menu adjustments very efficiently. Jimmy delivered pulled pork, grilled chicken, Asian slaw, potato salad, and Hawaiian rolls to a volunteer appreciation dinner that I organized and the food was absolutely amazing. Jimmy and his staff, Daniel, and crew are superstars!!  I found Jimmy T's catering on the web, and as I don't know the Sacramento area, was taking a big chance on a caterer for a sizable  company holiday party.  <br><br>Jimmy, Daniel, and his assistant provided one of the best meals we've ever had.  The 40 plus employees and guests were pleasantly surprised to see the spread of varied offerings, but once they began eating, our guests became elated.  Some of our drivers had been on the road over 10 hours, tired, and were not really up for a party.  However, once they ate the cilantro shrimp, chipotle meatballs, pulled pork, cheese spread, and too many other choices to list, the energy in the room changed immediately.  The food was such a huge hit that people hung around, really enjoyed the party, and each other.<br><br>Thank you, Jimmy, Daniel and assistant for providing such remarkable service and so affordable for a small business on a budget.  We will see you again next year for our holiday party!! I called Jimmy T's for catering for my 50th birthday party.  He returned phone calls right away and when he was busy he always sent an email promising a phone call that evening which he followed up on.  He was patient with me as I changed the menu, people etc. The night of the party Tim and Theresa showed up early, were very professional and laid out a beautiful spread. The food was great! I really loved the pulled pork sliders with Jimmy's BBQ sauce.  We had plenty of food! ( I was worried we would run out ) I also want to add that in the middle of all of this Jimmy's family had an emergency where he had to leave the state he never missed a beat.
