He has a very good understanding of what I am going through. Our first session together was great for me, and he said I could call him anytime. I thought that was just a polite gesture, but he meant it. He actually gave me a follow up call that evening just to see how I was doing after that first session, and he took a 20 min phone call from me the next day too. He is a man of his word and genuinely cares about his clients. More...

I have know Jim for 11 years and about a year ago I used him as a therapist to help me with a tragedy. At first, I was a little gun shy to use a professional colleague as my therapist but that dissipated immediately once I was his patient. Jim made me feel comfortable right away. He is highly professional, thoughtful and empathetic. His visualization technique has helped me immensely and still use it as a coping mechanism to date. I would highly recommend Jim Swaniger. Most importantly, he will help you find the true underlying problem. Once he enables you to see that, you will see the solution. More...

Just getting to Couples Therapy alone is hard in itself. From the beginning we knew Jim was the perfect choice . We were made to feel very comfortable allowing us to open up with each other more than we ever had before. The pace Jim set allowed for both of us to have the opportunity to actually be heard and express ourselves. I feel the progress made in our first session alone is by far more than i could of ever done on my own.If you're looking to save or at least fight for your marriage/relationship then Jim is your best shot.
