For over 10 years I’ve been helping everyone from one-man-band start-ups, right up to large corporates like Tesco and Ricoh.
I write website content, brochures, sales letters, press releases, adverts – in short, anything that enables you to get your message across and yield more sales. My writing has, on many occasions, enabled my clients to increase sales by 300% or more.
You’ll find that I’m friendly, knowledgeable, always available to discuss a project, and 100% committed to making your project a success.
And don’t worry if you haven’t got your brief all figured out. I’ll happily help you with that. Let’s just shoot for the best possible result and everyone will be happy.
So, if you’re looking to take your brand, product, or service to another level – or you’re just starting out, I’d like to be instrumental in your success.

What do you love most about your job?
The freedom, variety and excitement of working with new people to achieve a positive goal.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The desire to be creative whilst maintaining a commercial mind in order to help people grow their businesses.
Why should our clients choose you?
If you take a look at my Google reviews (there's many) you find that the thing that's most said, over and above my ability, is my friendliness and helpfulness.
I'm genuinely committed to ensuring that people get the best possible result and value for money, I don't do failure.
I write content for the main navigation pages of a website: homepage, about, services pages, that kind of thing. Plus, product descriptions, article and blog content. I aim to engage the reader and compel them to respond to your call to action. With more than 200 websites completed, I know a thing or two about what works. I also write the all-important meta data and mark-up the headings in accordance with strict search engine guidelines – making for a better user experience and higher Google rankings.
Whether it’s something short and punchy for an introduction email, or a 10,000-word sales letter, I have a proven track record in writing communications that get a response. Not only will I write your letter, I’ll also advise on whether that’s the best strategy to go for in the first place. It’s often the case that we can find a cheaper, more effective way to reach your marketing goal. And yes, if we’ve ticked every box on the sales letter marketing checklist, we really can achieve ROIs that run in to thousands of percent.
Freelance website & marketing copywriter
From May 2009 to present.
I write copy and provide business development consultations for SMEs, start-ups and large corporates. I’ve helped literally hundreds of businesses to ensure their messages are clear and powerful whilst giving potential customers a compelling reason to choose them, over their competitors. Being a web specialist, I also help companies to nail down their requirements and create watertight briefs to submit to web agencies. In addition to writing web copy, a typical day is spent writing sales letters, creating workable ideas to promote business and advising anyone and everyone on how to become more profitable.
From May 2014 to July 2015.
Ricoh is a multibillion pound organisation specialising in supplying printer technology and IT solutions. I was asked to join them as their UK marketing copywriter, writing a variety of collateral, including brochures, email campaigns, press adverts and corporate videos. This was a fast-paced environment, and a detailed brief wasn’t always forthcoming. I had to be flexible and knowledgeable in order to fill in the blanks and deliver the required copy – quickly and efficiently. My previous sales experience proved invaluable in helping marketing managers to create new angles with which to sell new products and services.
From June 2013 to July 2013.
I was asked to become involved with Tesco’s One Voice campaign. An initiative created to engage more with their customer base. Whilst working closely with the Art Director, I took responsibility for writing much of the in-store messaging, specifically for alcoholic beverages and world food sections. My role involved conceptualising and writing hundreds of ‘on-brand’ short messages every day. I created a style that adhered seamlessly with brand guidelines, whilst ensuring that humour played a role in creating customer-centric, informative messages. SEJ Consultancy (UK) Ltd
From April 2008 to July 2009.
This was a small consultancy that offered B2B and B2C public relations expertise to local SMEs. I wrote press releases, provided consultations, and pitched for new business. My balanced, creative and commercial approach ensured that I would spot the right angle and suggest the best strategy to gain maximum exposure. I worked with local media; wrote for a business section of a local newspaper and provided digital marketing expertise. This was a hands-on role that gave me plenty of freedom to try out new ideas.
Business development Manager
Internet dreams Ltd
From August 2006 to November 2008.
ID is a design-led creator of high-end websites and digital applications. I was hired to pitch at board level and establish relationships with Media Buyers in order to sell the whole range of digital marketing solutions including Web, SEO, PPC, Email Marketing and CRM. I was instrumental in providing creative concepts, writing adverts and initiating marketing campaigns in order to generate new business. From a cold-call and lateral approach to winning new business, I was able to establish relationships with Play* (part of M&C Saatchi), Trinity Mirror Group, LBC Radio and other billion-pound corporations.
