If like me, you hold a gym membership but are always making an excuse not to go, I strongly recommend PT sessions with Jamie. He varies the sessions so you are not always repeating the same exercises over and over again and makes them far more enjoyable to the point where you will want to show up just to see what he has planned for you! I had an abysmal level of fitness before I started my PT with him...I use to grunt with exasperation just to stand from a deep and low lying sofa set! But within the space of 4 months I have accomplished training sessions which I thought would be absolutely impossible when I first started. Don't get me wrong, you will have to work hard but at least with Jamie, he will motivate you in a way that will help you find that extra bit of strength you never thought you had, all without acting like drill sergeant! I have not only seen a vast improvement in my physical appearance in terms of my body shape, but also in my mobility and fitness levels. He also holds regular group sessions with members of all different types of fitness levels which look incredibly fun too - I myself plan on joining the Wednesday session in the very near future. I highly recommend Jamie as a personal trainer. He tailors each session to meet one's needs and capabilities. He is very encouraging and supportive. The sessions are challenging, fun and very effective. I work as a dentist and suffer from back and shoulder pain. Jamie put me through my paces on a Saturday morning and although it was hard, it was well worth it. Enthusiastic for the job, listened to what I wanted as a client and put together a HIIT session that was specific to what I wanted to concentrate on. Amazing trainer! I have been doing PT sessions with Jamie for 4 months now, and he has transformed me from a couch potato into a much fitter, stronger and healthier version of me. I've just completed an 8-week block of PT sessions with Jamie following lower-back pain caused by running. With feedback from my physiotherapist, Jamie created a plan to help me strengthen my core and reduce the likelihood of injuring my back again. All I can say is this was an extremely worth-while investment; I feel stronger, fitter and happier than when I started. I trialled one of the group sessions recently; it was a lot of fun with a good group of people. I plan to take part in these, probably once per week. I have trained with Jamie Hartnoll since October 2016. I had grown tired of joining a gym, having an introductory session and developing a plan,only to have lost motivation within 2 months. I was more determined this time to find something that I could maintain and that would be flexible with my work schedule (Junior Doctor ). I have gained a lot from his expert training. I learned to enjoy running- I can't actually remember ever being taught how to run before, but Jamie helped with my technique and suggested working towards a timed 5k run. I now have the confidence to train alone, able to practice exercises that don't require much additional equipment with relative ease.Jamie puts a lot into his sessions. He is always well prepared with his equipment and a plan for each session. Each session is different and he keeps things fresh, regularly rotating out activities . The sessions are dynamic , Jamie puts a lot of attention into getting each particular exercise right. I found his approach to be spot on. I enjoyed working with him each week, found his communications to be clear by phone or text. He is a consummate professional. I've learnt that I can fit training in with my busy work load. It is possible to manage 10 mins - even on a hectic day. I feel I'm much more organised with my own personal life and pay more attention to eating better. I can't always train as much as I'd like to but I've gone from not training regularly to a much more consistent pattern. Jamie has introduced me to a variety of new exercises , helping me with some that I had previously struggled with .I enjoyed using the different equipment - especially the battle ropes and the kettle bells. I have been attending Jamie's group sessions training over 3 months. I was really nervous when I first started, however Jamie makes each session fun and enjoyable. He pushes you as an individual and brings out your strengths you never thought you had. I have met wonderful people through him who motivate you to do the best you can. Where can I start? I have never been a gym person. My lifestyle changed when I started with Jamie over a year ago. In this time, Jamie has helped me gain a lot of strength and motivated me throughout. The best part is that it didn't feel like torturing yourself - the exercises are fun and enjoyable. I've been attending Jamie's group sessions on a weekly basis since May 2016. I'm not naturally a sporty person, nor am I into fitness and still remember how nervous I felt at my first session. However, Jamie was supportive and helpful, and he designs the exercises so that everybody can do them-at their own pace or strength or capacity. This means that anyone, at any level, can participate and train. He, and the rest of the attendees at the group, motivate me to train in a way that I could never achieve on my own. I have been attending Wild Training in the Park (Harrow) with Jamie Hartnoll for over 3 weeks now and I am quite surprised that I enjoy it so much. Having never done core or upper body exercises before and being in my fifties I thought, one I wouldn’t be able to do it and 2 hate it. It is mostly down to Jamie, he encourages you so much and believes you can achieve your goals and is super friendly.Jamie’s knowledge is excellent and he explains why we do each exercise and the benefits. He also varies it so that we don’t get bored. The other bonus is being out in the open air, so much nicer than being in a gym. I have met some lovely new people and I look forward to the 3 sessions every week. I would encourage anyone to come and try it as we are all ages and at all levels but with one aim to stay healthy and as fit as we can. More...

I was lucky enough to have stumbled across Wild Training (Harrow), it was exactly what I was looking for to give me the motivation to get up and go with my fitness again, and to work towards my goals of burning fat and getting lean. A mixture of different types of exercise keeps it interesting and engaging and all the exercises are shown and explained before doing them, ensuring technique is a key focus to limit injury. The sessions are fun and has a mixture of people of all abilities, fitness levels and ages. We also have a laugh sometimes!Jamie's knowledge is excellent, he obviously known his stuff! I have been Training with Jamie for over 2 months now and I can say that I've had an awesome experience with Wild Training ! Jamie is very professional and encouraging towards every member of our Group. He explains precisely the reasons why we are doing each exercise and how it benefits you physically. He is also patient to teach us the correct techniques for the exercises without making you feel overwhelmed! I'm writing this review in the name of myself and Daniela (who doesn't have a Google account). She's the one who told me about Jamie's Bootcamp sessions at the park as she started last June and she has been really enjoying it. As she attends a few times a week Daniela already had amazing results, she's lost weight and she's the fittest she's ever been. From what I've seen myself, Jamie is a great trainer, very committed and professional and he always knows when to encourage and praise me when I need it the most. It's a shame I can't attend more often, everybody else have seen great results and the sessions are hard work but truly enjoyable! Great job Jamie!!!!!! More...

The perfect plan is useless if a client cannot stuck to it. Adherence is therefore a key focus point to get client results. Building a training and nutritional plan that the client will enjoy doing. And every client is different in this respect.

We work through a process of goal setting to identify the ultimate aim of where they want get to combined with with shorter term goals which will enable lots of small wins along the way to help keep clients motivated and on track.
