Jen worked with me through a major home remodel. I wanted to use a lot of color and she helped me coordinate it all. Â I have received so many compliments on the colors and materials. Â She held my hand the entire way, offered great suggestion and came in at the end with her painters to clean up an issue from our general contractor. Jenn was fantastic. Our company recently sponsored a surf charity event up in Malibu and hired JG Color Studios to help design a modern bamboo lounge to conduct celebrity interviews. The space turned out great. Jenn was so helpful, she tracked down some awesome furniture, center pieces, and accents that really made the area look polished and well planned. We recently had a flood in our home, which gave us the opportunity to change and re-do several of the things we originally didn't like. Â One thing for sure I knew I needed help with was choosing the paint colors throughout the house. Â I was just never quite happy with the ones we had before, and had such a difficult time trying to choose my own from the swatches at home depot. Â I was referred to Jennifer through a co-worker, and I am so glad I called her! Â She walked through the house with me and provided suggestions based on our personality, style and current furniture. Â Now that the house is completed, I couldn't be happier with all of our choices. Jennifer was absolutely great! Â I had been struggling mightily to come up with paint colors for my new house without success. Â Jennifer came in and wasted no time in getting me on track. Â Room by room, she made just the right suggestions, taking into consideration the other colors in that room, the paint colors in adjacent rooms, and my preferences.When we were done, Jennifer provided me with a helpful booklet of all the paint selections, specifying exactly where each one was to go and including a sample of the actual color to make it easy for both the painter and me to use. Â Now, with the painting complete, it's amazing how well the colors flow throughout the house, while still bringing out the best of each individual room. Â There's no way I could have come close to this by myself!And even though we were focussed on paint colors, Jennifer also gave me some very good design ideas. Â I look forward to utilizing her more in this way moving forward.Jennifer is simply a delight to work with! Â She is both professional and fun to be around. I hired the girls at JG Color Studios to do some re-design, faux-finish on my walls and spatial design for my patio. The service was great and totally inventive. The owner, Jen, and her designer, Sarah, focus on using Green techniques, refurbishing old items and using recycled stuff. They both have great eyes when it comes to design and perfect placement of furniture, art and adding green elements into the home. They even did a wine-stain on our previously ugly cement patio! amazing. They definitely worked with our budget and delivered a beautiful finished product. What’s your interior design process?
The first step is to get to know you and understand how you live and how I can tell your story with function, color & design in your space. Budget and concepts are tailored just for you for approvals & installs are taken care of by a team of experts to fulfill your creative and stylistic vision.
Project- Our work ranges from new construction and remodels to conceptual consulting that matches branding and individual creative designs.
Products- Products from paint and art to furniture and flooring are acquired from our extensive network of vendors or vintage retail sources.
Professionals- Once a design plan has been formulated, we assist the client in selecting appropriate professionals, masters at their trade, in order to bring our clients the highest degree of expertise possible. Working along side these professionals, we collaborate to oversee and manage the project to completion.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I love to mix styles but I bend toward mid century modern, boho, spanish inspired, luxe and modern. If you can imagine it we can create it!
What do you love most about your job?
The relationships that grow with our clients and seeing the pure joy during the process as changes occur and their lives change with that for the positive.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always been ambitious and have a desire to help others achieve how they interact, live and place their own personal stamp in their environment.
