If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would!! We hired Jessica to do our engagement photos and a few family shots with our 4 year old. We had never done a professional photo shoot, so we went in completely blind. The communication start to finish was very professional and she accommodated us every way we needed. She was so great with our daughter and made us all feel comfortable. I would recommend her for any photography needs you have. We are SO in love with the pictures and so happy to have found a family photographer! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Be daring. It's easy to stand straight on, facing your subject, but what happens when you crouch down, or climb higher, and view it from another perspective?
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What's your goal with the photos you are looking for, and why do you need them? Answering these questions help me to understand the story you're looking to tell and how best I can do that for you.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people, collaborating, making my own schedule, and being out and about. Photography has lead me on so many awesome adventures and allowed me the opportunity to meet and work with some incredible people.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My creative independence and need for freedom. I love a new adventure, and every photo shoot is just that.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm easy to work with and love meeting new people. I have a real passion for photography that I believe shows in my work. I'm not afraid to lay in the mud or climb a tree to get the best shot (I've already done both).
