I knew what I wanted for my kitchen windows but I could not find the design or function that I envisioned at any store or catalog, alas, I almost compromised. When Maggie Wilson Carraher arrived she listened, took a little time to know me better, and take in my current home design choices. Returning from her car, she placed pounds of books with fabric options on my table. She opened up the first book, paged through several fabrics and finally placed her finger on the open page and said, "I think this is what you want." I said, "That my dear, is exactly what I want!" I'll be honest with you, Maggie hesitated a second and asked if I wanted to look through other options. I said, "No need. This is what I have been looking for." Jessica helped us with drapes for a very large sliding glass door in our new home and even though we needed only the one set of drapes, her service was over the top!  The selection of fabrics she brought was extensive and her recommendations were excellent (and stayed within the budget we had.)  She was very efficient, yet I never felt rushed.  She is extremely knowledgeable about the hardware (LOVE what she recommended), knew exactly how certain fabrics would fall and was a complete pleasure to work with.  The drapes were delivered earlier than expected and installation was truly professional.  (They were installed at a perfect height - just a sliver above the carpet - and hang beautifully.)  Every time I look at them I smile!  They are a focal point in the room and could not be more perfect.  Thanks Jessica! Maggie was fantastic to work with! I am not a designer, but I didn’t want the same old same old basic blinds everyone else has or the exact same things in every room. Maggie made some great suggestions, showed us lots of pictures as well as samples. Maggie spent a lot of time with us, even multiple visits to revise and tweak before we made our final selections. No rush and no pressure. I also tried to get a couple other quotes from costco and 3 day blinds to compare prices, but they only wanted to sell me same old same old things they sell to everyone. They didn’t seem comfortable or confident as designers. And ironically had more difficulty staying within budget when asked about different products and ideas. Although I still went a bit over-budget, Maggie helped us reduce cost with other changes with similar look rather than pushing me into cheaper basic products I didn’t want.
