Jess Cheetham is an amazing documentary photographer, she creates an environment which enables her to capture you and your family in a really natural authentic way. The hour whizz by and my boys thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, stock posing was off the table and we were allowed just to play and be while she snapped away. I absolutely love my photos and have used Jess again for my acting headshots, which were brilliant. We had an amazing couple of hours with Jess on a family lifestyle photo shoot on Somerset Lavender Farm. We were so pleased with our photos and are keenly trying to decide which to blow up to put on our wall as there are so many lovely ones to choose from. My children took to Jess immediately which was a big relief as they can be little monkeys at times. The unposed, natural approach really worked for my family and the location was fantastic. As someone who is better behind the camera than in front of it. I can get rather anxious with the thought of just acting normal with a camera snapping away! ! I’m so used to being behind the camera taking pictures of my own children that I was slightly nervous about having the camera pointed at me. I needn’t have worried! Jess has a fantastic ability of putting you completely at ease until you forget she is even there! I absolutely love the photographs she captured of my family at a local forest school. Jess is really lovely, she connected with the children easily and put us completely at ease which meant that we were able to get some gorgeous unposed photographs in our house and playing in the woods.
