So we popped in and I got the #42 chicken chipotle cheesesteak...and boy am I glad I did.  The sandwich was amazing especially the sweet peppers which sent it over the top! !!  My son got the big kahuna cheesesteak which he would not stop raving about...lol.  My business partner got the Original Italian and judging by his face it must have been delicious. I guess the bottom line is if you're in the mood for a good sub either hot or cold I would definitely give this place a try.  The staff was very friendly and attentive and got the subs out to us very quickly especially during the lunch rush, I was pretty impressed. This is my fave, fave, fave sub shop - bringing back memories of the sandwiches we ate in high school (in another town, another era, another lifetime. ...another store.) Piled HIGH with all the fixings of meat-cheese-hot or cold you'd want, fresh-sliced as you wait (not a long wait),  then topped off with mountains of shredded lettuce and onions. A swift drizzle and splash of vinegar and oil (MIke's Way) and you've got a great sammie-sub-hoagie-hero - whatever you want to call it.For the carb-conscious they will "gut" the bread for you (rip out the excess in the middle so you get a shell of a roll). In the Franklin/Cool Springs area there is every sub sandwich chain I am aware of.  I have eaten at all of them many times seeing as I work in this area.  Jersey Mike's is my favorite.  The quality of the subs is just a bit better, especially if you want a hot sub.  The Meatball and Reuben are probably my two favorite.  This place is clean, never crowded, the people are always friendly and I am able to get in and out without too much fuss.I might have given this place 5 stars but its hard to get that excited about a sub. When I travel, I usually try to avoid franchises in favor of local fare, but I have to admit, I was ecstatic to find Jersey Mike's here. .. quite by accident.  I wasn't even hungry, but the find warranted a meal, so in I went.If you're used to common boring sub sandwich fare from the big guys, have your paradigm reset at Jersey Mike's.  It's old school, they slice the meats and cheeses right in front of you as you order.  You choose your sub, fresh bread, toppings, and that's about it.  Simple... delicious!  They also have hot subs like cheesesteaks and such.I got the Italian.  Very generous, cheap and delicious!  Service here was great... efficient even during a lunch rush.  Not much more to say, simple menu, genuine sub taste, great value... go go go!
