Jenny's Cakes is a Multi Award-Winning Artisan Wedding Cake Bakery based near Gretna Green.
We are a professional family business, totally dedicated to designing, baking and decorating unique and delicious wedding cakes.
Started in 1986 by Jenny Breen in a purpose-built bakery in Crossford in the picturesque Clyde Valley, Jenny’s Cakes has recently relocated to Annan, to serve Couples choosing to get married in Gretna.

A month ago today we had our wedding and Jenny & Tom helped make it a wonderful special day with a fantastic bespoke cake. Everyone who came remarked on the look and exquisite taste of it and we even managed to get pieces as far as London and upstate New York by express courier to allow missing guests a chance to taste a little piece of perfection. From meeting, tasting with a nice cup of tea and turning our unformed ideas into a wonderful three tier triumph we can recommend them to any prospective couples and will happily use them again (being big cake fans!) We cannot thank Jenny and Tom at Jenny's Cakes enough. My husband (!) and i were married yesterday (18/09/16) at One Devonshire Gardens in glasgow and our delicious wedding cake was the perfect compliment to our day. Jenny and Tom were a delight to meet with and could not have been more accommodating or helpful in bringing our vision and plans to life. Carly and I popped in for Tea and Cake tasting ahead of our Wedding in August. What a fun and enjoyable meeting! Tom and Jenny are clearly experts in what they do.
Cake making is more than just a job for them- it's a passion.
We sat with them for an hour, discussed our ideas, they gave suggestions on what would work, and a plan was made.

Thank you Jenny’s Cakes for designing and making our fabulous wedding cake. We had a 4 tier snowflake themed wedding cake which complemented our winter wedding perfectly.
We even had our ginger cat feature on the cake, which was a great suggestion by Tom! Before we ordered our wedding cake we visited Jenny and Tom at the bakery and had a fantastic afternoon discussing our wedding cake design and sampling the different flavours of cake. Tom and Jenny made us feel very welcome and were more than happy to help us design the cake for our big day.
We would definitely recommend Jenny’s Cakes.

We got married 14th july this year at the radstone hotel. Jenny and tom were amazing from first consultation to end result on the day. Listening to every detail and it was perfect. I can't thank Jenny and Tom enough for our stunning wedding cake, which helped make our day absolutely perfect. It was truly decedant from the hand painted flowers to match my bouquet, to the baroque printed icing to match our invite, to the castle venue, and most importantly the mouthwatering taste! Jenny and Tom are two very talented people. We knew we wanted a Star Wars cake for our wedding we choose to have it half traditional and half Star Wars. We had a rough idea what we wanted it to look like so we shared our idea with Jenny and Tom and left them to do whatever they thought was best. They did an amazing job, we loved it and our guests loved it. They worked so hard on making our cake perfect. My favourite part was the topper of ourself and our two children. Our wedding was 9th December 2017. Jenny and Tom provided us with such a delicious cake for the day. We went for our tasting and loved all we ate, decided on lemon drizzle and chocolate ganache for ours.
Everyone loved the cake on the day and it was just as delicious the next morning for breakfast!
I would also like to say that the staff at our wedding venue also appreciated the cake that Jenny and Tom brought for them to eat as well. Such a thoughtful gesture and just highlights how considerate and sweet they are. Very highly recommended

What do you love most about your job?
Meeting couples in our bakery for a chat over some tasty cake samples, and helping them to design their own unique wedding cake.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being a professionally qualified baker (four years full-time education at Birmingham Bakery College), Jenny was getting frustrated with electrical retail!
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a specialist wedding cake bakery. We don't make birthday or celebration cakes. We are an award-winning, hand-on family business, with over 30 years Professional experience. Led by a dedicated husband and wife team, with two additional staff- we place strict limits on the number of weddings each week, typically four or maximum of five, to ensure that we allow the time necessary to make each cake to clients detailed needs and wishes. We can make a range of sizes and styles, and are always willing to consider any ideas from couples looking for something a bit different.
