We had Julian do our engagement photo shoot as well as the photos for our wedding. We could not be more happy with the results! The pictures turned out wonderful, and the service he provided was out of this world! If there was a specific photo we saw opportunity for, we asked him if he would take the picture and he was very accommodating. We had a lot of family who came in from out of town who haven't been to an event together like this in a while. It was like a mini-family reunion on top of the wedding, so there were many requests for family and group photos, and Julian was happy to oblige. He is wonderful to work with, always finding new ways to make the subject of the photo smile and laugh, he is also wonderful with children! Julian was nothing short of amazing! If I could give him 100 stars, I would! We planned our wedding in Boise from our home in Virginia, so when our original photographer backed out after our last trip to the area before the wedding, we were worried to say the least. After looking at probably a hundred wedding photography websites, he immediately made the short list just by the fact that his pricing was actually listed on his website. We scheduled a phone call with him and he spoke to us for over an hour (during a holiday weekend, no less!) and we knew immediately that he was the one. He was even kind enough to schedule a meet-and-greet with us the week of our wedding once we got into town. Again, he chatted with us for over an hour. He gave us all kinds of tips and tricks to keep in mind on the big day and we reviewed the schedule that he had created for us again. That day of the wedding he was great. We laughed and joked and had the best time taking pictures with him. It was important to us that the day not feel stuffy and he went right along with that. He posted a sneak peek album that was straight from the camera on facebook the night of the wedding after he left and the pictures were amazing. It was so nice to not have to wait weeks to see any of the professional pictures. I wanted to use a couple of the sneak peek pictures for our thank you notes and asked him if it was possible for him to remove the watermark for me just for those few pictures and he obliged and did it that same day. We just got all of our pictures back yesterday and they are so incredible. Looking at them was like reliving the whole day. He got great pictures without being in the way. He really captured some special moments all while making sure to not interfere with the flow of the day. More...

Julian was such a great photographer from the bottom of our hearts we say that.. My husband and I had such a smooth wedding because of him. He knew exactly how to pose us for great photos which didn't require any of our energy. He took fabulous pictures and took all the necessary photos. Julian felt like part of the family and one of our guests. He loved our culture and loved our food which we liked because we didnt have to work to make him comfortable or tell him what to do next. Julian knew what to do and our wedding photos ran smooth because of him. Julian was amazing! He worked with our not so ideal schedule changes. He was fair and so fun to work with throughout the stress of changing our wedding from August to January. He helped with ideas and was always willing to hear ours and I'm just so greatful for him and all his experience because he certainly made our wedding day and our engagement shoot an amazing time and memories we will have forever. Julian did a great job with our engagement photos and with our wedding day photos! With our photography package, we got to keep ALL of our photos from our Engagement session and Wedding day that Jenkins took, which was so great not having to pick only a handful from a proof-book (we got about 200 photos back from our engagement session, and just short of 800 photos from our wedding day on a thumb-drive). We also get 3 prints as part of our package for framing. Julian met with us several times throughout our wedding planning process and always helped us feel at ease. When we had other vendors who were frustrating or limiting, Julian had great solutions and was willing to do whatever was necessary (we had some issues with Fall/ Seasonal sign and advertisement placement at our venue which they refused to remove or delay putting up until after our wedding day - he solved this by good pose placement for pictures and offered to photoshop things out if needed), "membership" issues that our venue sprung on us last minute (we had contracts in writing not mentioning anything about memberships so we did fine taking care of that - but he was very calming during the process and helped "talk-us-up" before calling our venue back), and had good advice on whether or not a "rainy day" tent for our ceremony would really be necessary (thankfully for us, we had beautiful weather!). The photos we got back from Julian are stunning, and everyone involved in our wedding day mentioned to us afterward that he was a pleasure to work with. He put our family and bridal party at ease, while also being very friendly and accommodating to our other vendors (our florist and DJ's both mentioned this to us after setting up). This of course includes making us feel at ease on a very big day! If you want a laid-back professional to work with, who also has great quality photos, then Jenkins is the one to book with! More...
