Jeli Computer repair is a fantastic service. Could not recommend highly enough. Fast, skilled, excellent price. He is the man you need in any technical emergency. After a spillage on my laptop on Saturday night, rang him on Sunday morning, dropped the laptop round and he had it stripped and cleaned in less than 24hrs. Had bought a PC from PC World (PC Specialist brand) and it had problems from the get go. I suspected that it was something within the hardware, and finally got fed up of how slow the computer was and how it would randomly crash. Texted and got a reply almost immediately, called and was able to discuss the problem. It was clear to me that he knew what he was doing, not only that he was very authentic and genuine, incredibly helpful and even offered a student discount. What an amazing man is Jon - I phoned him about a laptop of mine which needed (besides a new fan) lots of work doing. He came round introduced himself, we chatted and then he took it away with him - a day or so later he brought it back fully functioning like it was brand new and at such a price that left me gob - smacked. I certainly will be using him in the future for my towers and other laptops and can fully recommend this guy to anyone wanting (a rare to find) honest, genuine and hard working computer scientist, for want of a better word - as he fully explains the situation and you always get that bit extra with Jon as he is always willing to share information etc. Basically a lovely honest working man who works at prices you will not find anywhere else and repairs computer symptom's that most others wont even touch. Jon was extremely helpful. He came to my home the same day that I contacted him regarding the problem I was experiencing. He was very understanding and explained to me,in language that i could understand, what the issue was . He took my computer away and returned it the following day in a fully working state. He contacted me several times to update me on the situation and fully installed and rechecked the computer in my home.. He is a very genuine man and his charges were extremely low. My computer monitor kept turning off after about an hour's use although the computer itself appeared to be 'on' with a light in the switch. To reboot it, I had to close it down with a [very] long press, and then restart it. I explained all this on the phone to John And he said to bring it round. John ran a variety of tests and concluded that it was not repairable [I had thought this might be the case as it is 10 years old and never been serviced] John explained everything really clearly. He is genuinely concerned about his customers' problems and very straight forward and honest. I picked up the computer and its next destination is a skip at the tip. [I had better make sure that I select the correct skip otherwise someone down there will tell me off] (quite a scary place the tip) John is going to email me ideas about a new PC.
