What makes a great website?
Meeting the top 3 goals and speaking to the demographic. Clean, attention to mobile responsiveness, and direct to the needs of the client, business and visitor.
Setting a "tone" as well upon arrival is important to me in design. I spend hours sometimes choosing the right imagery for the opening fold for example.
