What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a great photograph is composed of 3 basic things.
1. Knowledge and understanding of your client. Their likes/dislikes, their style, and their personality.
2. LIGHTING! The best photos are usually taken at sunrise or sunset so I typically book around those times for the best exposure.
3. Candidness. Some of my favorite shots are of people doing what they love, laughing. Just being genuine.

What inspired you to start your own business?
My inspiration came from being a kid and needing to document every moment of my adventures with my friends. Funny enough, I used to dress up my binders in my photography in high school. I would challenge myself to do better each time I made a collage. And it just blossomed from there.

Maternity Session
With this package you will receive an hour and a half of shooting and unlimited outfit changes. My goal is to capture your pregnancy glow and celebrate the new life the grows inside of you. After the session you will receive 20-25 of the best quality photos on a disk with a personal use rights to reproduce letter to print your images at the print company of your choice. A $100 deposit required at time of booking to hold your spot. The remaining $25 is due before your disk is mailed to you.
Engagement Session
This session will include an hour and a half of shooting and unlimited outfit changes. We will be celebrating your upcoming nuptials and capturing the love between you. About a week after the session you will receive a disk containing 20-25 of the best quality images and a personal use rights to reproduce letter to print your photos at the print company of your choosing. A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your date. The remaining $25 is required before your disk is mailed to you.
Senior Session
With this session you will receive 2-3 hours of shooting and an unlimited amount of outfit changes. My goal is to capture every bit of the success and pride they radiate as they prepare for graduation. You will receive a disk with 20-25 images and a personal use rights to reproduce letter so that you can use the images as you need for graduation announcements, invites and prints at the print company of your choice. A $175 deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your date, and the remaining $25 will be due before your disk is sent to you.
Family Session
For an about an hour and a half, we will shoot as many images as we can capturing the love your family shares and having fun while doing it! You will receive 20-25 of the best quality images on a disk and a personal use rights to reproduce letter to print at the print company of your choice. A $100 deposit required at time of booking to hold your date. The remaining $25 will be due before I mail your disk to you.
Newborn Session
In this session you will get 2-4 hours to accommodate for your baby's routine, outfit changes, and helping the baby get comfortable.
The best time to capture your baby as a “true” newborn is usually between 5 and 10 days, so it is best to book your session during pregnancy, basing it around your due date. I will keep in contact around that time to be sure this appointment will work for you. So, if you give birth early or late, I will give you the priority for an alternate date. If you believe the portraits would be better to be taken while the baby is between 2 weeks to 12 weeks old, I still recommend making the appointment during pregnancy. The session can also include siblings, parents and grandparents.
Within 2 weeks I will have a disk ready for you with 20-25 images and a personal use rights to reproduce letter so you can order your prints through the print company of your choice. $250 deposit required at time of booking. Remaining balance will be due before the disk is mailed.
Mini-Sessions
Through out each year, I will offer small 30-min themed sessions at $75. They are promotional and usually will only be offered on one day to be booked back to back with other clients. Add Jeannie Newbury Photography on FB to keep up with the specials.
