The success of our big day is owed much to JB wedding planners. Even though we were fairly organised. I definitely underestimated how much help would be needed to plan our wedding and with JB wedding planners being one of the most organised and efficient people I have come to know, I was so glad they catered to our needs during this process. I cannot recommend them enough! They can point you in the right direction for vendors and venues tailored to your budget and their negotiating skills make sure you get the most of your money. What do you love most about your job?
What I love the most about my job is just seeing is all come to fruition! The hard work, planning behind the scenes, liaising/meeting with the vendors, scheduled (an even sometimes unscheduled meetings lol) matter so much in order to bring our client's vision to life. It is so rewarding for us as a team to see our clients trusting us for one of the most sentimental days of their life, hence why we are always willing to go over and beyond for our clients to ensure we meet them at their very needs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am completely and utterly in love with love! Over the years I have planned events as little as birthday gatherings to weddings reaching a capacity of 800+. Planning events is a part of me and i feel fulfilled when I plan events. So when I put my two biggest passions together (love and planning, I get "wedding Planner" :)
Before I completed my professional wedding planner course back in 2013 and became a certified wedding planner, I had been planning a number of weddings and had to eventually quit my full time job as an English secondary school teacher. Quitting my teaching job was a big thing for me as I Loved my teaching job (I tutored on the side as I couldn't seem to let it go lol) But as the weddings came in, the realisation that I couldn't do both jobs began to sink in and I said to myself "I'm ready to start my own wedding planning business"
