I first used Jayne to write my will. At 34 I thought I was too young to be thinking of my death, and not really thinking I had anything to leave. Jayne pointed out my most important possession, my daughter!! I then wanted my wishes noted for when that time comes. It was when doing my will, that a funeral plan was mentioned, again, I didn't really want to think about it, however, having lost both parents, I knew too well, how stressful a time that was, and it may have eased a little at a time of overwhelming grief, had my parents taken out something like a funeral plan. What do you love most about your job?
My clients. All clients have very individual stories, wishes and requirements. I have to adapt with each appointment and be very sensitive to each clients individual needs. I love that no day is the same, it keeps my passion for Estate Planning burning.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always ran my own businesses, Estate Planning was born from being a Family Mediation Counsellor and witnessing children in the care system visiting Child Contact Centres where they would have limited time with loved ones before being taken back into care by the social worker. Usually this was down to a Parent passing away and leaving no will that stipulated Guardianship. I wanted to try and make a difference. This is why I often offer discounted wills for struggling families, and always give FREE consultations before a client gives me a decision on whether they would like to move forward with my service or not.
Why should our clients choose you?
I pride myself on being dry professional but also friendly, personable, approachable whilst at the same time knowing my stuff when it comes to estate planning. The feedback I usually get is that my clients are positively surprised at how easy it is and that they wished they had come to me sooner. Being in my thirties my demographic is extensive and I feel I can relate to many different age groups, afterall it is not only older people who need to have their affairs in order. Our prices are very competitive and unlike a solicitor we do not charge for our 'time', only the services chosen. Also, once you use any of our services, you are then a life long client meaning that you can come to us anytime in the future and we will only ever charge you the cost of a re print, even if you wish to change your will/documents entirely.

Yes, due to Covid we have had to adapt, like everyone else, and now we offer telephone appointments & video calls all free of charge as well as emailing a full free information pack out to clients who would like one.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our Head Office is spacious, bright & very airy. All our office Team wear full face coverings as well as being sat behind a newly erected glass wall.
We follow strict guidelines regarding no cross over of clients within our waiting area, sitting always 2m distance from our clients, full surface clean down after each appointment and hand sanitiser available at many points.
Although this all sounds very clinical, we still maintain our friendly & personable approach as safely as we can.
Will Writing
A well written Will is essential to ensure that your wishes are carried out clearly & without the ability to be contested when you pass away.
Lasting Powers of Attorney
There are 2 applications for every 1 person - Health & Welfare, and Financial & Property.
These documents are the documents that look after a person whilst their heart is still beating, or until the Will becomes relevant. Very important for everyone to have in place, irrelevant of age, as these crucial documents can not be put in place once they are actually needed. They have to be created ‘in preparation of’ a worse case scenario.
Protective Property Trusts
Ideal for any couples who own their own home together, both names on the deeds/mortgage.
This is where we give each owner their own 50% share of the home and create a Trust Will to accompany this to ensure that when the first of the couple dies, their half of the home will be immediately placed into Trust for the children/beneficiaries. This protects atleast 50% of the home against potential re-marriage, or care fees in the future.
This option is essential for any couples regardless of age or mortgage who own a property jointly.
Family Asset Protection Trusts
These Family Trusts are all singing all dancing protection facilities. Ideally for anyone over 50 years plus who owns their own home with either a small or non existent mortgage, who maybe is adamant that they want the home to pass down to the children or loved ones.
These Trusts protect 100% of the home against any future risks such as Care Fees, Ex-Son/Daughter-in-Laws claiming any of your children’s inheritance, Probate fees and long estate administration delays, and is a great Tax planning tool.
These Trusts must be created at the right time and for the right reasons. A free consultation is needed before we can decide whether a Family Trust is right for the client.
Funeral Plans
A Funeral Plan is a guaranteed investment, and a must-have for every human being over 18 years old regardless of health.
We are Whole of Market Funeral Plan Advisers, meaning we have many different providers on our panel of options.
All our providers Trust Protect the clients money, meaning that if ever the company were to go bust, the clients money is still fully protected.
Also, our funeral plans can be transferred between family members if needed.
The cost is locked down at today’s price and will never increase, regardless of when you die (even if it’s in 30 years time!) meaning your loved ones will have nothing to pay.
The best part however, if you ever cancel your plan in future for whatever reason, you get all your money back minus a small cancellation fee.
There really is no valid reason why you shouldn’t have a funeral plan in place.
These start from just £27 a month for maximum of 10 years.
