Jason is a true professional. He went to the location for our party the day before to understand the space. And bring the best equipment. He arrived early for the event to set up. Instead of a photo booth for our wedding we wanted a red carpet experience with a step and repeat backdrop. We worked with Jason to create that experience with a backdrop at the Seattle Art Museum. From the planning stages, Jason was very attentive. My husband I are very demanding and have high expectations. Jason was very detail oriented and was able to troubleshoot issues with the backdrop and we were able to get everything worked out before the big day. On the evening of the event, Jason was great to work with and even sent us the photos from that night so we could send them to our guests the very next day!I'd also like to note that as an LGBTQ couple, it's important to support vendors who support our community. Absolutely best decision i made! Jason is such a easy person to communicate with, very professional not pushy and has your best interest in mind. Having a one year old attend a 2 hour photo shoot in the 88 degree weather was not easy by any means, but Jason managed to capture all the images perfectly and had so many great ideas and instructions that we did not have to do much. Pictures turned out beautifully and so many to choose from that it makes it hard because you simply want them all. Jason has a great eye and took fantastic photos of my daughter for her senior pictures. He is so easy to work with and has a wonderful sense of humor and natural people skills. I can say nothing but great things about Jason J Kim Photography. I have used his services for two special occasions and just for fun for my three daughters. Each time I could hardly wait for the photos to arrive and was overwhelmed by the visions he captured.He exhibits great professionalism but is very personable and warm as well. I am a Chinese American living in Mercer Island, WA. I often organize themed parties at my home to create special memories for my family, friends and myself. My most recent project was to create images of Chinese women in old Shanghai, China. Jason took my project very seriously and did a lot of research and preparation before the project. Highly highly recommend Jason!Jason did our Pre Wedding Photoshoot. Jason has been extremely cooperative since the very start. He was excellent at communicating and discussing the plan before the actual shoot. He was very proactive at suggesting different places to go and collaborated with me in deciding the final detailed itinerary of the shoot.The day of the shoot was so much fun. Jason is a very amiable personality and he made us feel comfortable from the get go. Jason is a complete professional from his first emails, always quick to respond, to his final photos. He is passionate about his work in the most fun and enthusiastic way possible. He was very good at instructing my son of how to pose in different and interesting ways so we didn't end up with 100 photos of him all looking the same with different backgrounds! The camera he used and the 18 inch lens was the largest and most impressive one I have seen in person. He has the right equipment to produce amazing shots regardless of the lighting and conditions.
