We booked Jason Berry Photography on two occasions. The first was for a family photo shoot last December and the other was for our son’s wedding in August 2018. On both occasions, we were extremely happy with his services. Jason is the best of the best! He is very professional and easy to work with and his pictures are absolutely stunning!!! We are so impressed and SO GLAD we chose Jason as our photographer! He worked with us in our budget, flexible with the timing and ultimately had an eye to get the perfect shot (we did not feel rushed whatsoever).

His style is unique in that he knows how to work with lighting and incorporating the scenery in the background to enhance who we are as a couple. My fiancé and I were surprised at how fun the engagement shoot was and felt super comfortable with Jason, and appreciated his suggestions for how we should pose (or not pose) for the camera.

I loved working with Jason! We found his information on Wedding Wire and loved how he captured the nature in his photos. When I reached out to him, he was very responsive- we had a quick phone conference, and then he quickly made a proposal for us--which was very flexible to our budget.

I found Jason last minute for my wedding since our original photographer bailed. I'm glad it happened this way because Jason is an amazing photographer.  All by himself, he captured the most amazing photos from all sorts of angles.  My husband and I are shy and introverted so we don't really like crazy poses, especially my husband who doesn't like taking pictures at all.  Instead, Jason captured great candid moments that we absolutely love!  He listened to all of our needs and requests and honestly, I don't think anyone could have done a better job. When I was searching for a photographer, I was hoping to find someone who really cared about their artistry, who cared about their end product and could connect on a personal level with their client. Jason Berry was all of those and beyond. I believe that selecting your wedding photographer is of upmost importance. After all, what is left after a wedding besides your memories and captured moments in time? I had such a great experience from beginning to end with Jason. He was professional, responsive and really listened to what we wanted. Our engagement session was a great preview into what was to be expected for the wedding day itself and I could not be more excited! On the wedding day itself, Jason and his assistant Tony really took their time to make sure that all angles of the wedding were captured. The end product was even more beautiful than I imagined. BOOK JASON NOW FOR PHOTOGRAPHY! Seriously, now! Jason has a natural eye and ability to capture dramatic, fun, and creative photos. My husband and I booked Jason for our engagement and wedding photos and we are so happy with how EVERY picture turned out. From the beginning, Jason was very professional and prompt. My husband (who does not like being in front of a camera) really loved Jason. Jason made him feel comfortable with his down the earth attitude. Jason gives great suggestions for poses and where to stand and how to stand, he makes taking amazing pictures easy. After our engagement shoot, we felt like we had become friends with Jason and really looked forward to him capturing our wedding day. Between the engagement shoot and wedding day, Jason remained in full contact with us and answered any questions that arose during wedding planning. Jason was such a great find! He was so easy to work with and created a package that met our needs. On our big day Jason & his team jumped right in shooting all of our accessories and wedding details as soon as we arrived. He also helped organize and execute our first look off site at the Mission San Juan Capistrano. Jason was unobtrusive while still capturing every part of our wedding beautifully. Do yourself a favor and hire Jason Berry RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, now that that's out of the way, here's my review :) My husband and I were engaged last April, and while almost everything about the wedding was uncertain, what I DID know was that Jason Berry would be our wedding photographer. I've long been a fan of Jason's work, especially his wedding shoots, and was confident in his abilities to deliver something beautiful. For all the couples that are apprehensive about the costs of wedding photography and videography, I understand your pain. I really do. You ask yourself over and over again, is this really worth it? Do I really need this? The answer is YES. Jason is absolutely worth every freaking penny. He is truly a professional in every interaction, and he makes you feel comfortable the whole time you're with him. I have never had my pictures professionally taken so the engagement shoot was a little nerve wracking for me, but Jason helped loosen us and helped to pose us with it feeling super awkward.On your wedding day, the team Jason brings is truly just as awesome and passionate as he is about their craft. Their pricing is fair, their response times up until planning are excellent, they asked enough questions and looked at the timeline thoroughly but didn't have an overwhelming amount of "homework" for us to do. When we started our search for a photographer, we wanted not only a professional but someone that we could easily call a friend. From the first moment of meeting Jason we knew we had found our photographer. He has a real passion for his work and this is can easily be seen through everything that he creates. Our initial meeting went for hours which was a testament to just how well we all clicked and got along. Always willing to answer our questions and provide advice on how to make our wedding day just right.

We got married at Kualoa Ranch, Hawaii and Jason easily captured every special little moment that we could have hoped for. Not being models ourselves, Jason was more than ready to give ideas and get creative to make the day even more unique and magical. He was there holding our hand every step of the way and we will be forever grateful for him going above & beyond. Our photos were better than I could have ever imagined. Truly, I can't even say I have a single favorite one...there are just so many which I fell in love with. Our family and friends were mesmerized. They said the photos are so beautiful that they belong on the cover of a magazine.

What surprised us the most, was just how fast Jason was able to process our photos. I've had friends that have had to wait months, but Jason was on top of it and was able to give us ours within weeks. Jason Berry is the best! Together with Tony and Doug, their work complement each other as evidenced by the excellent photos they create! Very easy going and flexible, i texted Jason a couple of hours before the ceremony to take pictures of the wedding gown, the groom's outfit, rings, invites etc which wasnt included in the contract and they were there and did beautiful pictures which just tied things together in my wedding! The best decision ever for my wedding...well, next to choosing my Man, of course! Lol!

My experience with Jason has been so beyond perfect. We purchased our wedding photography package from him and I haven't regretted it for a second. We wanted to do our engagement photos out in Yucaipa because it's lovely out there in the fall and he was more than happy to make the drive to make our session perfect for us. He arrived on time and we had tons of fun shooting! Usually I hate being the subject of photographs but he made me feel like we were just out having fun, it was the most willing I've ever been to have my photo taken. Jason is a dream! He was our photographer for our wedding (and engagement session) and we couldn't have been more happy with our choice. For the quality, style, and amount of pictures you get, I'm shocked at how realistically affordable he is! I am so impressed with his shots - they're a perfect blend of candid, artistic, photojournalistic, and traditional - and his easy going personality and calmness took it to the next level. We stumbled across Jason's work online and were drawn to his photography style. After a couple of conversations with him, we felt very comfortable in moving forward– yes, we did not even meet until our engagement shoot! He felt really personable and you could sense his passion and we knew we would be in good hands. Jason was always available to chat or go over any concerns that we may have. Considering my wife and I were having a traditional Indian Wedding, I reiterated to Jason a few times how many hours and manpower will be needed. He never once was fazed but rather yet, was excited about it all! We met Jason and his team (who are awesome!) for our engagement shoot in Laguna Beach. Our firm hired Jason to take some headshots for our website. He was absolutely amazing. He made sure to find out what the style and feel of the website was so that he could find the right coloring and lighting to complement the website. He scouted out a great place for some outdoor shots in an industrial complex. He and his assistant were both kind and had incredible attention to detail...always fixing hair fly-aways,  lighting, angles, creases in clothes. The firm was beyond impressed. This October my lovely wife and I had the pleasure of working with Jason Berry and his wonderful staff. We can honestly say, Jason was an important and stress free part of our wedding planning process. Trying to find the perfect photographer is very difficult. We actually met with five different photographers, before we found Jason on a wedding web site. Not only did my wife and I enjoy our first meeting with Jason, but we compared his web site work with other photographers and were blown away by his style, grace and overall vision. During our engagement session, my wife and I had a great time following Jason's lead. He made the session fun loving, easy going, and most importantly, memorable. Later in day, he sent us one of his favorite shots, and it was beautiful. Shortly after, we viewed all of the photos, and we couldn't have been happier. This was huge for us, knowing we could count on Jason based off our engagement session, and Jason didn’t disappoint. Even though this particular October day was very hot, Jason encouraged us to work through the heat and made use of the entire day. What we especially appreciated is, my wife and I were able to kiss, smile, flirt and whisper into each other’s ears, while Jason worked in the background to get us into the perfect places and seamless poses. Reflecting on our experience, the one under appreciate factor when dealing with a wedding vendor is that sense of comfort level and really connecting on a vision. I think, not only was Jason's technique and craft impressive us, but Jason really understood how special this day was to us, and made us feel at ease. Jason was fantastic! He originally did our engagement shoot and he was so easy going and put us at ease. Based on the wonderful pictures from our engagement and his reasonable prices, we chose him for our wedding day. We had a torrential downpour the day of my outdoor wedding. Needless to say, I was pretty stressed out by this. Jason arrived at the hotel for the 'getting ready" pictures and he assured me that we would still get great pictures. He managed to get great shots of me smiling despite my family who was stressing me out (who doesn't get stressed out by family when under pressure?) At the outdoor wedding site, Jason did a great job of making my now husband relaxes while we did our "first look" before the ceremony. This was Jason's suggestion and I am so glad I listened. They're some of the best shots because my hair and makeup was fresh and we were so happy to have a moment to ourselves before the busy day. Jason figured out great lighting in the chapel we ended up having to use. He also managed to find somewhat dry areas for us to stand in outside once the rain had stopped, but made sure that they were perfectly picturesque spots. The outdoor vegetation was one of the main reasons I chose our wedding location and he managed to include it in many of our shots. I highly recommend Jason for your engagement and wedding pictures. I am so very grateful to have found Jason Berry Photography in my last-minute search for a wedding photographer following a series of frustrations with the “friend-of-a-friend” my husband and I had originally planned on. Jason responded to my inquiry promptly and I was absolutely relieved that he would be available on our day – only a few weeks out! As we had to plan the wedding from 1700 miles away, we did not actually meet Jason in person until the morning of the wedding, but from our phone calls, emails, and some browsing through his previous work, I felt comfortable with his personality, professionalism, and skills. He is a kind and thoughtful person (he captured all the little things I never realized that I wanted photographed), and his sense of humor and flexibility certainly carried him through my carefree and reckless ‘planning’ ☺ I will be forever amazed at how beautiful perfect our wedding turned out and now that it has come and gone I am in LOVE with the gorgeous collection of photos we will now always have to remember it by. By far the best and coolest photographer I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He has done the maternity photos for our new baby and the family photos when she was born. Both came out absolutely amazing. I got dragged to the maternity photos and was not stoked at all. Within the first 15 minutes we were having a blast and shot for hours. When it came time to do family photos I refused to cooperate with my girlfriend unless Jason did them. Again we had a blast. Will definitely be using him for the wedding and any other future events. Jason was awesome!! This was my first time taking pictures outside of a studio and he really helped my Fiancé and I feel comfortable. He guided us through poses, took into account pictures I posted on Pintrest, and was very prepared. He and his assistant were professional and took their time with us as we found a groove. The pictures came out great and my family is so happy and grateful to have this time of our lives captured so beautifully. Jason was very responsive, provided input on the wardrobe choice, and provided all of the necessary information before the shoot. He also arrived to the location before us!!! Once we arrived he already had ideas of where we would shoot and had a vision. He showed great care and concern for the lighting which helped the photos turn out beautiful. We are so grateful. The best decision we ever made regarding our wedding was hiring Jason to be our photographer! He was so professional and easy to work with. His work is beautiful and he captured all the emotion of our wedding day. All the little moments that made our wedding day so beautiful Jason captured. The weeks leading up to the wedding Jason's experience and communication really saved our day. He brought things to our attention that I would have never thought of(I didn't hire a wedding planner).
