Carla is a fantastic photographer. She was amazing from start to finish, listened to what we wanted and created the magic. The photos she had taken were amazing and authentic. She kept me calm right up to me walking down the aisle and I will be forever greatful. We cannot thank you enough for being so thoughtful through this entire process and for capturing our amazing day! We would absolutley book her again. Thank you More...

If you are going to the emergency department, expect to wait more than 2 hours for the nurse to see you (assuming that you arent going to die in the next 2 hours). If you are planning to travel here by car during business hour, I suggest that you use public transport instead. There is no car park in the hospital. The closest parking near the hospital has a maximum of 2 hours stay.

On the bright side, they have free wifi. The medical team is competent and friendly enough to warrant 4 stars.

My father had secondary liver cancer and is currently being treated at Royal free. The surgery went well and the care he is receiving in ICU is excellent. The nurses give the impression that they want to be there rather then have to be there. I have not given 5 as he is still there so will want to see how is treated in a ward. He has been to other hospitals but this has to be the best so far. Dr Davidson and his team carried out the surgery.

Just an update on 24 April 2018, my father recovered well in ICU, he was well taken care of. He is home now with ongoing issues but it seems the cancer has gone. I would recommend this hospital.

I have been treated at this hospital and in my view it is one of the best in London. If you follow the procedures, on how to book an appointment, you'll be able to see the best doctors and you gonna get a good treatment. I'm glad that I had been treated here. If you go straight to AE like in any AE you gonna get a basic level of treatment and wait for ages unless it is a real emergency, like a car accident etc. More...

Excellent day surgery team - helpful, effective and explained everything clearly and patiently. Would have given RFH 5 stars except I was concerned that notes were not shared between the OP Clinic consultant, the pre-operation assessment and day car teams. Could be very worrying if the patient is not on the ball. More...

Excellent staff - great doctors and nurses. Only exception is Victoria Nelson - rudest and most unhelpful. The hospital should immidiately remove her or at a minimum discipline her.

The volunteers at the entrance are very helpful and if asked walk you to the department you need.. I needed to go to the Grove Clinic which apparently was a little walk through the hospital. . then out the other side and little more behind the hospital.. the volunteer escorted me just about all the way..
He would have gone out in the cold but I asked him to just show me which building I needed to go to..
The pharmacy usually has a 30mins wait.. there is also a M&S hot food to go and a Whsmiths..

I cannot praise the level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail I received as a patient here enough, I was an outpatient at the breast clinic and had suspicious results showing from my mammogram and ultra sound, the team performed biopsy’s of which the results were thankfully clear but had they not been I know without doubt I would have been in the safest of hands for any further treatment, it’s been well documented that the NHS staff are under severe pressure and strain in their daily work, but it’s also clear to me from my recent experience in particular and several previous experiences with the nhs that against the odds the staff are giving a level of genuine care which I imagine simply cannot be easy given the circumstances, for me this reaffirms that many of the brilliant medical staff employed are not just in a job but a vocation, and one that saves lives, which nothing can be more important and commendable . Please continue the brilliant work, and know that I for one ( and my husband) truly appreciate the wonderful work performed by the NHS staff. Thank you so much, forever grateful, Noelle. More...

A great hospital both for treatment and medical education. Although many departments need a medical referral, some offer a "drop-in" service.

Back for an Examination, October 2017. This time an intimate series of exams, made much more bearable by an experienced nurse who explained each step, and at the end, gave printed info. about further steps the Doctor might wish me to take> Very helpful. really comforting, informative. This would confirm m previous rating, but a extra (gold) star would be awarded were that possible for a difficult procedure, made comfortable!!

Very busy hospital. Excellent Neurology Services. Out patient departements are modern and comfortable.
Staff are proffesional and very helpful, this is a large site and first impressions may be overwhelming, but reception is fully managed and there are also volunteers at hand to help.
Parking is limited and can be expensive, so my advice is to use public transport and leave plenty of time for travel.
The public transport links are very good.
There is a facility at reception that will advise on travel from the hospital and order a taxi for you, if requested.

I was so impressed by the efficiency and kindness showed to me when I went to a &e recently after I had enveloped a terrible itching and spots for nearly a fortnight. the stress I initially felt was terrible. the nurses working here and doctor's do an incredible job dealing with absolutely anything. I was seen quickly at 4 30 am and again shortly after at just after 10am. the accident and emergency services seem to split there huge department from lesser important cases to the imminent serious ones. I was very relieved of course that it was a dermatology temporary matter but it was the way staff encompassing every section of this hospital reassured patient's throughout. More...

Huge hospital in Hampstead. Doctors are good. But the area in front of the hospital is very dirty, smelly and full of rubbish. Not hygienic place for ill patients. No designed smoking area and a group smokers smoke around car parking area and next to café where patients have their food and drink while breathing smoke full air.
Please make some small area for smokers because we are all suffer at the end.
Two cafés within premises. Very good M&S cafe is on a ground floor and Costa cafe is outside. Helpful staff. Clever self service machines to check in order to avoid queueing. Quick and easy. I hope that other hospitals will install the same machines too. Small limited parking area.
M&S café had a good various choice of food and drinks. Really impressed.
Quick enough service. We did not wait for long. A few lifts. A bit dated building but clean inside.

Went for blood tests, got lost (as it happens in a hospital this size!). Found the place at 7:25 (they open at 7:30), there were about 5 people before me. At 7:29 an army of nurses arrived. At 7:30 they opened the doors, queued for about 60 seconds to be given a number. By the time this happened there was only 1 person in front of me. I was in and out in 10 minutes. My nurse - Alessandro- was polite and very skilled, got the needle in my tiny vein in one go and 3 vials were filled in less than 2 minutes. Amazing! Thank you very much, very pleased. Congratulations to this staff! More...
