Jamie is a great trainer with an incredible level of knowledge. He genuinely cares about his clients and is clearly passionate about his work. He puts in a lot time outside of sessions to develop bespoke programmes and make sure you’re working towards your goals. Whatever your reasons for seeking personal training, I highly recommend Jamie Farrell. I do many sports and fitness activities. As a former health service professional I like to train with experienced people who understand anatomy, physiology and sports psychology. I sustain regular injuries and can also be severely asthmatic. Jamie is one of a small group of my top favourite fitness and wellbeing professionals. He has extensive, deep rooted knowledge (his list of professional accreditations, sports achievements and academic qualifications gives you a snapshot), he also has incredibly broad experience along with care and passion for his work. He has trained me through life's good times in strength, conditioning, flexibility, olympic lifting, injury recovery (shoulder surgery, ripped ankle ligaments and torn hamstring) and through life’s real bad times with exercises to cheer and motivate. Been training with Jamie for a few months now. I am a climber and have been stuck with a lower back issue for over 2 years. After multiple physio sessions and seeing multiple doctors, I was finally referred to Jamie and training with him finally meant that I could run again. I suffered a serious back injury in 2012 and have been limited in what I could do since then...until I met Jamie. I started seeing Jamie over a year ago and his scientific approach to training, innovative regimes to keep things interesting and patient but progressive approach to helping someone achieve their goals has really helped me and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I have been training with Jamie for a little more than two years, I chose to start using a personal trainer after suffering a badly dislocated shoulder that lead to surgery following repeated relapses. Jamie’s patience and exceptional knowledge of sports rehab have allowed me to develop my confidence in the gym and, most importantly, has meant no further trouble with my shoulder. I am happier and healthier than ever and so couldn’t recommend his treatment plan and fitness programme any more highly. More...

I have been training with Jamie for around 4 years now. Jamie has tremendous qualifications and is excellent at focusing on rehabilitation. He has helped me correct my posture and the way I generally carry out day to day activities. He strikes the right balance between challenge but also making sure I carry out my exercises correctly.
