I / we meet James prior to booking him and liked him straight away, I / we then meet james prior to the wedding for a location reconnaissance. on the day James was excellent and professional and very punctual, nothing was to much or to little. at times you didn't even know James was there. we have now received our special day pictures from James and they are amazing, there are some that are that good we and our guests didn't even know they had been taken. Absolutely loved having James as our wedding photographer. He was so professional, yet friendly at the same time making us both feel very comfortable and relaxed. Leading up to the wedding communication was excellent, with him offering great advice re. Timings and location shoots. I can honestly say I am so glad I took on board his suggestions. I will never regret bringing our wedding forward to an earlier time in the day, to make more time for a couple of location shoots on the way to our venue. We got married late September. James was absolutely fantastic - he took his lead from us and let us be ourselves instead of the more traditional staged pictures. James is a very pleasant and ameniable man whos presence was not intrusive or 'in your face' but a reassuring flash every now and then reminded me that the precious moments of our day would be captured for us to view whenever we wanted after the sun had set on our wedding day. I would highly recommend James for your wedding photography.

We met at our flat before the wedding, where we (and you) will have the opportunity to discuss what pictures you would like and where after the ceremony you would like them too (which for us was at Peasholm Park - great and close if you're getting married at Scarborough Registry Office). We are so happy with our photograph's. So are our guests, as he also photographs your guests on arrival and it's great to see that, as usually you aren't there (Not just posy ones but great natural ones too.)


I was so happy to know, that if you like him on his photography page he will tag you in photographs before you get the full album. So you have a taste and excitement of the pictures to come in the meantime. Definitely a nice touch.


I think he is worth hiring for the whole day, ceremony & evening do. I would love to have had his photographs from that too. A lovely man who is dedicated to capturing the visions you want but also, confident in himself enough to capture and direct moments which turn out to be your favourite photographs, Thank you so much James, from us both.
