About

I’m a freelance graphic designer based in Yorkshire. Bursting with talent I love to explore ideas, develop concepts and create solutions to overcome design challenges.

I have worked as an in-house designer for a company based in Bath for the last 2 years and have gained many skills in the Adobe suite - Illustrator, After effects, Photoshop etc.

Lucy did some fantastic work for my event. She was quick to respond and had some great ideas to meet my specification. Clearly a very hard worker! Thanks for all of your help!

James Creative are really dynamic. They listened carefully to our brief and quickly identified with our market. The vision with graphics and design was excellent. They communicated every step of the way and made logo development and brand reinforcement exciting and much less daunting than we thought. Lucy was brilliant. We’ll definitely be using them again. Q&As

My Creative process depends entirely on what I'm designing. However the target audience is something to consider along with creating a solution for what the client needs.

Depending on what the project en-tales below are a few questions I would consider when designing.

- What is the organisation name?
- Do you have an existing logo or website?
- Do you have an existing brand guidelines?
- What is the target audience for the project?
- What ideas would you like the target audience to take away with them?
- What is your company's current position in that market?
- How do your customers perceive you? What would you change about these perceptions?
- Are there any features that you consider must be retained if you were to adopt a new identity? (branding)
- What relevant identities do you admire? (give web addresses where available)
- Colour preferences? Message you want to convey? Do you prefer certain colours/colour schemes be used for the identity. (I.e. neutral colours, anything but pink etc.)
