James took the photographs for our mums 70th birthday. He did a mixture of posed pictures and natural ones. He had all the equipment with him, with amazing lighting! He was very communicative so we knew what time to expect him and kept in touch as we planned for the day. He arrived on time and was very friendly. He was extremely patient with us all, especially the children!! He had great advice about where would be a good place to take pictures. It all went extremely well!!!! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I think the secret to taking a great photograph is great prep work, also knowing different techniques and when to use them for the right job.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I think the best thing to ask is to get a really good understanding of what it is the client is looking for. To help them realise what they want and to find out what images do they really like, to get an idea what is going to get them excited.
What do you love most about your job?
What I most love about my job is being able to be creative constantly, and creative bright, lively and exciting work that jumps out.
What inspired you to start your own business?
What inspired me to start my own business was to be able to work independently, to be able to create my own work and set higher standers being my own boss.
