Jake was the photographer at our wedding in August 2018 and we really couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!! Me and my husband aren’t fans of having our picture taken but Jake made us feel so relaxed and at ease that we actually enjoyed having our picture taken! He really captured the essence of the day and all the little special moments that we otherwise would have missed, which means a lot to us as we have them to cherish forever. So many guests commented at how professional yet relaxed Jake was and they were really impressed by his way of working! I would definitely recommend Jake to anyone! We knew early on after getting engaged that we wanted Jake to photograph the wedding, we loved his style and after meeting him knew he'd be perfect. We had great fun at an engagement shoot and got some amazing photos, even though it was raining. The same could be said for the wedding, as everyone has commented on how great the photos look, even if the heavens had opened! We are absolutely blown away by the photos he has captured from our wedding, he was completely unobtrusive and managed to capture the feeling of the day in absolutely beautiful photos. Jake is an incredible photographer and offers something that little bit different for your wedding photos. He is such a lovely, relaxed and happy bloke you feel at ease in his company immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer than Jake . Our photographs are breath taking . He managed to capture the essence of the day through his clever photography . All the moments that we would otherwise have missed are there , captured forever in our photos . We had lots of children at our day and the pictures of the kids are stunning. My 2 year old daughter did not want to stand still and have pictures taken but Jake made sure there were loads of beautiful photos of her taken at lovely moments. So many people at the wedding remarked at how brilliant Jake (and Mai ☺️ ) was . He worked so hard, did not stop moving , stayed till much , much later than we anticipated and despite seemingly being everywhere (photographic evidence ) his presence is so unobtrusive and lovely that everyone felt relaxed and forgot they were being photographed. The hard task for us is now choosing which of the wonderful pictures we have in our wedding album! Jake was absolutely amazing on our wedding day! Made us completely relaxed when normally we hate having photos done! He blended in so well and captured moments I never would have thought of! He stayed much longer than expected and was a pleasure to have as part of our day - more like a guest than a photographer! He truly captured each persons personality in each photo and I treasure that! Jake is quite simply THE BEST! My husband hates having his photo taken but when I introduced him to Jake before the big day he thought he was awesome and felt so relaxed. Our friends and family have commented on how our photos are so different to "standard wedding photos"... Jake is quirky and full of ideas that result in the most amazing photos for you to treasure forever - you may even get featured in a wedding magazine like we did!! My husband and I chose Jake as our wedding photographer and we could not be happier with the results! Instead of an engagement shoot Jake came to our wedding venue at Elmore Court the night before our wedding and took photos of us and our friends at a pre wedding cocktail night. Jake immediately put us at ease and has such a warm and relaxed attitude. We gave Jake a brief about what we did and didn't want on both days and he absolutely delivered... We chose Jake as our wedding photographer in November 2017 without even researching anyone else. Jake had been the photographer at both of my sisters weddings and had done such a great job at both there really was no doubt in our minds about choosing him for ours! Jake is so relaxed and always puts everyone at ease - you hardly even notice that he is there but his photos are stunning! We asked for Jake to stay until our first dance but I remember seeing him well into the night a few dances after this which he didn't have to do but is great because he captured so much more than we thought he would. We didn't want the usual wedding photos that are too staged and we didn't - everything was completely natural. We have been so pleased with what we got at the end - it was great being able to see a sample of them just a week after the wedding on the blog and then receiving the full set along with the slide show with music is just such a great touch!
