I literally cannot praise Jake Biggin highly enough!!
From our first conversation I knew that he was the only illustrator for me, as he calmly explained and guided me through the process of publishing my first children’s rhyming picture book, “Vanessa starts Preschool. ” I was feeling quite apprehensive about the whole process but after talking with Jake I was filled with renewed vigour and confidence. He has been without a doubt the best collaborator that I could ever dream of working with and I cannot explain the sheer excitement that I felt every time he sent each illustration through to me. To see the characters in my book come alive through his amazing talent was beyond ecstatic and he captured my vision perfectly. It was literally masterpiece after masterpiece and he is quite simply a genius!
If you are looking for an illustrator, Jake Biggin is definitely the best choice. I hope to publish more books in the future and I most definitely will be obtaining Jake’s services again.

I hired Jake to illustrate my daughter's first book. The entire experience of working with him was nothing short of amazing. From the quick response time to the final product. I suspect Jake is actually a superhero on the Q.T. - an illustrative one!
Jake produced an amazing high resolution illustration for the opening scenes of my (unpublished) book, and when I saw it, I actually cried with joy. Jake is wonderful to work with; so friendly, communicative and fun, and he listened to my extensive ramblings with patience and kindness. But what is truly exceptional about him is his ability to see what was in my head almost as if he had taken a photo, and then make it better. To actually meet my characters and look upon the landscape of my book has been one of the most amazing things ever, and it is all down to him. When I had the idea to write a short illustrated story for a birthday present, I was going into it blind, not knowing whether what I wanted to do was realistic, how long it should take, what questions I should be asking etc.

Jake was friendly and reassuring from the start, and I very quickly felt confident in his ability to deliver. The illustrations, turned around quickly, were all of a beautiful standard, better than I could have envisioned, and were made with what probably amounted to quite poor directions from me.
