Jae is a delightful person as well as a superb photographer. Always professional, kind, and really quite funny, Jae was the absolute right choice to photograph our wedding. During the ceremony, he blended in so well that we barely noticed he was there—but he sure was! He caught so many spectacular moments in the ceremony, it was almost hard to believe the pictures weren’t staged. And when he took the posed photos after the ceremony, it never felt awkward or like a performance. (Well, no more awkward than my husband and I normally are.) Jae is pleasant, affordable, accommodating, and professional to work with. We had a very good experience. A cake smash that was to be for 1 hour, he was patient with us for more than 2 hours. Every year I try to get one group photo of our family. In the past we've gone to department stores as I was unwilling to pay the high fees of a professional photography session. And we got what we paid for, one semi-decent family photo where everyone is looking at the camera with their eyes open. This year I decided to "step-it-up" and Jae Kim was recommended to me. I was looking for a photographer who had a studio in Saskatoon and who was willing to do an affordable, mini session 20-ish minutes (as the kids lose interest quite quickly). Jae Kim was exactly what we needed! He's very polite, punctual, organized and easy going. His studio has all the equipment and props ready to go. The actual photo-taking felt quick and easy, but best of all - the results were FANTASTIC. We paid with e-transfer directly after the session and the proofs were emailed to us within 2 business days to make our final selection. Everything about this experience was better than expected.
