I am level 2 swimming teacher and also have my RLSS I currently work for Volair where I teach primary schools, adults and evening classes for children between 3-14yrs old.I try to make learning to swim as fun as possible ,efficiant and pupil appropriate.

Love this place . All the staff are fantastic as are all of the classes and gym facilities. Hate rest days as I feel as if I'm missing something just bought a 12 month pass and already saving for year after next

As the chief instructor at Family Martial Arts in Aintree, strength and conditioning is a massive part of my job. Volair Kirkby has a brilliant mix of machines and free weights and the pool is a decent size too. Sauna and steam are always clean too which is great. Highly recommend! More...

I per-faired the old “Hammer Strength” equipment. The gym NOW has been designed for looks and style rather then over all performance. Bars have been thrown out when the refurbishment was done, there isn’t a decent plate loaded leg press that was promised or equipment for back There isn’t a mirror in front Ov the squat rack. There is loads Ov equipment that is out Ov skin or just off that could cause an serious injury. Machines that need regular maintenance and oiling “Kirkby Volair” The price’s have been raised but the gym isn’t at its best & there is a David Lloyds down the road at £8 too £10 more.... Customers will leave if changes aren’t made. I’m a local customer, made dramatic changes in this gym physically and it’s a shame to see it go down hill an people leave. I like the people who come here, but if things don’t change in the gym I will be leaving, Because for the price, it’s just not good enough, there is cheaper an better gyms out there...
