I wish I could give SIX stars! I was worried about cost when it came to finding my wedding photographer because my wedding was literally an all day affair! When Jacobo told me they don’t charge by the hour and I saw his photographs I knew they were the right duo for my wedding day! I had Jacobo come for the rehearsal which gave us some amazing candids, which is my favorite! He captured some very aesthetically pleasing shots of my church , which can be difficult! On our wedding day Jacobo spent time at the church with my husband and Macky came to the hotel where the bridal party was getting ready! Macky was such an Angel! She came in clutch because my bridesmaids ran short on time, so Macky not only got some great getting ready candids of me and my son, but she helped me with getting into my dress! I have a chronic illness that causes fatigue and she was very attuned to my health needs! She was like having an extra bridesmaid! The shots they both got from the ceremony were absolutely beautiful and then we went on to a nearby rose garden for our formal bridal party shots! Let me tell you I was so sick at that point from the heat and my illness but both Jacobo and Macky worked quickly and efficiently that they got some of the most MAGICAL shots. It didn’t matter to me that we had to cut it short, due to my health, because the shots they got were ones you see in bridal magazines! Then we all had a break in our day and then we partied late into the night! Jac and Mac stayed pretty late getting some great shots of the venue, of family and friends, and even some families got family photos taken! I can’t recommend Jac&Mac more highly! They care, they put themselves into the action , while not getting in the way, and they capture the best of people! I can’t wait to work with them again! More...

Jacob generously volunteered his talent to shoot a special event for our parish, and I ended up being a pleasantly surprised second shooter! I was asked to help photograph the event while 8 months pregnant, and when the day came, I was so relieved to see that there was a confident, professional photographer present to capture the moments that I didn't quite have the mobility to get myself. Where do I start? My fiancé planned a surprise engagement over this past weekend in Washington DC and Jac & Mac Photography went above and beyond to help him capture such a special moment. From the beginning they were incredibly responsive - always willing to answer questions and remain in contact to help create the perfect plan. They even went so far as to scout out the location the day prior - saving the moment from being accompanied by a reflection pool that had no reflection… (the water was unexpectedly drained); they worked quickly with my fiancé to come up with a backup plan. They were extremely personable and made the photoshoot friendly and comfortable. The photos came out beautifully and the turnaround for the digital gallery was impressively fast. I’m head over hills with Jac&Mac. I was stressing out and found Jacob at the last minute. It was truly divine and I am so grateful. I had two events for my Retirement from the Navy (Ceremony & Party). It was refreshing to find out that he already had access to the base so this took a huge strain off me, no hassles of arranging base access. On the day of the ceremony, he arrived super early, got set up and captured pics before the ceremony began… this was so thoughtful. He was courteous and asked me what was most important to me and asked if it was ok to freely move around the room… I urged him to do as he desired and to get all up in it… and he did! The evening party was exceptional and I appreciated him for working the room, gathering my group to take photos, and manage the Photo Booth. I could not have been happier with Jacob.
