Jan is wonderful and so kind. When my dog refused to go into her house or get in her car she agreed instead to come to my house every day and take her for loooooooong walks in our local park. Jan was Tobys puppy godmother! ( and my saviour! ) we were relocating away from London while Toby was only a very small pup. Jan and Jack where so incredibly kind to both of us, so understanding of Toby's needs ( mainly constant cuddling ) and my ever changing schedule as moving is never straight forward. Jan was so flexible and kind it made the whole experience so much less stressful! Toby had never been away from us yet after a few days of taking him to Jan, he would start getting excited as soon as we turned into her street! we cant begin to thank Jan and Jack enough for looking after Toby and even though we know live outside of london i would never want to go to anyone else to help look after Toby, and im sure Toby will agree! Jan at Jack's Pad is brilliant. My dog Ruby is always so excited to see her, mainly because she knows she's about to get a really good long romp around Hampstead Heath with the other dog's Jan looks after. I have used Jack's Pad for dog walking, daycare and also for boarding, and I am always really confident that Ruby is getting the very best care out there, and the fact that Jan picks her up and drops her off is massively helpful. Jan has been walking our lovely little Stella the Sproodle for the past few months and we really cannot recommend her enough. We have had a few dog walkers in the past and Jan is by far the BEST! She is so caring and loving with the dogs, and also gives them the most amazing 3 hour walk on Hampstead Heath - and the dogs LOVE it. I just wanted to write my wholehearted recommendation to Jack's Pad dog walking. I hope it's ok - but I am so happy with the service I can not keep quiet. :) I had to go away to see my mum who is ill and my husband is on crutches at the moment. Our gorgeous rescue Lizzie is an absolute sweetheart but she can be nervous around other dogs and groups of people. The dogs, the various breeds and the way they interact in a pack together. The unconditional love and trust the dogs give you and watching the young dogs learning and growing with the older dogs in the pack

What inspired you to start your own business?
My current dog Jack was my inspiration. I walked on Hampstead Heath daily with a mixture of dog owners and dog walkers whilst recuperating from an operation. The daily walks with Jack helped in my recovery and eventually when i was fit to return to work. I soon realised it wasn't for me anymore. A decision was made to work in pet care as a career. I worked hard from September 2015 creating Jack's Pad as a business.
Why should our clients choose you?
Staying at Jack's Pad is a home away from home experience. Your dog is treated with the love and care they deserve and will leave to go home happy having been exercised, socialised and stimulated. I am fully insured. Be rest assured your dog is in safe hands. I do not take dogs that haven't been neutered or spayed and insist on a meet and greet to make sure Jack and the dogs joining Jack's Pad get on together. I do not walk more than 6 dogs including Jack and do not board more than 4 dogs at any one time.
