Leaving your dog in the care of others is always a hard prospect to deal with. Especially when that dog is more than just a pet, it’s part of your family!
Whilst you’re working, away or just need your dog walked during the day the main aim is for your dog to be well cared for, socialised, exercised, stimulated and above all loved whilst in our care!
Jack's Pad offers long morning walks on Hampstead Heath which provide a wonderful mixture of woodland and fields for your dog to stretch its legs and a variety of ponds to splash about in. I am aware that this can be too much for puppies and older dogs so I also offer walks in Queens Wood and Highgate Woods. Catering for all your dogs needs is extremely important. I will make sure they're relaxed and happy during their time in my care.
Having owned dogs throughout my life I am well aware of how hard it can be to find someone you trust to look after the needs of your dog, rest assured love and care is in abundance at Jack's Pad
Jack is always happy to welcome friendly dogs into his home although I do require a polite meet and greet with any potential visitors to allow the dogs to get comfortable with each other..
I don't take any more than three large dogs at any one time for boarding and i ask that all adult males are not intact and bitches are not in season. This stops any dominance and aggression in the pack.

Jack's Pad Q&A
What do you love most about your job?
The dogs, the various breeds and the way they interact in a pack together. The unconditional love and trust the dogs give you and watching the young dogs learning and growing with the older dogs in the pack
Everyday i experience the beauty of Kenwood and Hampstead Heath with the meadows, woods, ponds and beautiful surroundings. What is there not to like
What inspired you to start your own business?
My current dog Jack was my inspiration. I walked on Hampstead Heath daily with a mixture of dog owners and dog walkers whilst recuperating from an operation. The daily walks with Jack helped in my recovery and eventually when i was fit to return to work. I soon realised it wasn't for me anymore. A decision was made to work in pet care as a career. I worked hard from September 2015 creating Jack's Pad as a business.
Why should our clients choose you?
Staying at Jack's Pad is a home away from home experience. Your dog is treated with the love and care they deserve and will leave to go home happy having been exercised, socialised and stimulated. I am fully insured. Be rest assured your dog is in safe hands. I do not take dogs that haven't been neutered or spayed and insist on a meet and greet to make sure Jack and the dogs joining Jack's Pad get on together. I do not walk more than 6 dogs including Jack and do not board more than 4 dogs at any one time.
