We hired Neil and J 3 Architects to help design our kitchen / family room / outdoor room remodel. I loved how Neil helped us think outside the box to incorporate a built-in seating nook. The J3 team are great to work with and go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy with the design. They are able to use technology to develop real-time design solutions, which saves time and money. We also appreciated their experience with the City of Kirkland, which helped expedite review and provide just the right amount of detail for permitting documents. Neil is a wonderful Architect! I am super glad that I found Neil who helped in planning/designing our dream home and helped us in getting permit to build it in city of Redmond. Neil was very easy to work with and gave us appropriate suggestions to increase the value of our property. For example, he suggested us to extend our house in 2nd floor instead of extending it as a ranch/rambler. That way we could get a lot better view of cascade ridge mountain range. We worked with Neil at J3 Architects to design an addition over our garage. Our contractor was suppose to find us an architect but when he failed to do so, we reached out to Neil on our own.
Neil was very professional, thorough, and delivered us exactly what we asked for, while also making the addition look like a part of the original construction. When a part of the plan came in well over budget, he worked with us to find acceptable, more affordable alternatives.
A lot about the construction process was frustrating, but every interaction with Neil was satisfying and stress free.
I would highly recommend J3 Architects.
