Our family of five had a truly delightful experience here on Black Friday. We arrived at 4:45pm and were seated immediately. Our server Christina was great.My citrus Cooler "mocktail" (no alcohol) was tangy and flavorful.My nine-year-old and I shared the soup trio. My husband joined in on the baked potato soup. The cream of mushroom and butternut squash soups were very good too.The chef's wedge salad was good. I asked for it without onions, and the the onions were removed promptly without a fuss.The nine and five year olds each had the "make your own" pizza option ($8 for each kids meal). Our other entrees were margherita pizza, filet mignon, and chef's specialty burger. Everything was fresh and delicious.The kids loved their dessert cake pops, which were served in a bowl with whipped cream and raspberry coulis. We also had the mini donuts. Six small ring donuts with a generous scoop of ice cream, whipped cream, and a cup of caramel topping.The tab was $140 including three adult entrees (one of which was the filet), two kids' meals, a salad, the soup trio, a mocktail, a coffee, and three soft drinks.We will definitely be back! 3 out of 4 ain't bad... I know, it's 4 out of 5 stars, so what's he talking about? I started with that because 3 out of 4 main dishes we tried were exceptional. The only outlier was the vegetarian dish (which, if you ask me, one of the main problems was that it didn't have any meat in it). The cauliflower steak dish is the one in question here. The cauliflower was crunchy. Not pleasant crunchy; like you know it's fresh not frozen crunchy, but raw crunchy. Ever so slightly browned and very underseasoned. The risotto it rested on was also questionable. There was no creaminess or richness to it, which is the thing that makes it risotto instead of "rice". The rice granules had soaked up all of the liquid and it had become just seasoned "rice". The calamari appetizer was amazing, the scallops in another dish were perfectly seared and the risotto they rested on was perfect, the seared tuna was fresh and flavorful, and the meatloaf was amazing. The dessert was great, as well. I have never seen blackberry, peach, and lemon together before, but the blackberry peach cobbler with lemon curd and vanilla ice cream was surprisingly delectable. Don't let the vegetarian dish issue keep you from coming here. Just leave your vegetarian friend at home and enjoy your amazing meals. Edit: After opening the leftovers box for the cauliflower dish, there was an orange sauce in a small dressing container in the box... There wasn't a sauce with the original plated dish at the restaurant, though. Maybe this simple mistake could have changed the flavor of the entire dish. (Unfortunately, not the texture though.) First time dining here. Was an absolutely amazing dinner and Date Night for us both. The lamb chops were exceptional and our steak was pefect. The manager was friendly and polite. And her waitstaff was above and beyond that. Our waiter , Marco made the evening a hit. We will be back to try the rest of this delicious menu. Thanks for making our night even more special .
