Having Jamal and Lashana as our photographers was an amazing experience that would be worth way more than 5 stars!!! From the second we met them at Starbucks we knew their personalities were definitely the ones we wanted to make our experience not only fun but special! They were so energetic, friendly and creative which made the engagement shoot so much fun and feel natural. Our wedding was July 20, 2018. The ceremony was in Kingston, RI and the reception was in Newport, RI. Even with two different locations on our special day, both Jamal and Lashana made it possible to capture every moment from getting ready in the hotels, to the ride to the church in the limo, the ceremony, and the reception. We attached some of the photos taken to show that each location was captured with the best lighting, creativity, and professionalism. Night shots were also amazing and on point. Not only were they good at photography but they interacted with our guests at the wedding in a very profession manner and were very personable, our guests loved them! At first were very nervous about picking a photographer as we both knew how important capturing every moment was, such as the look on the groom's face when the bride walked down the isle, the candid pictures of us throughout our day, and everything in between. After picking Jamal and Lashana we realized all of our worries were gone because before we could tell them what shots we were looking for they were already on the same page as us suggesting the same frames to us. They are very sufficient in sending us pictures in a timely manner as well as we couldn't wait to see them! If you're looking for a team to capture your whole wedding experience from your engagement shoot to your wedding day, Jamal and Lashana are definitely the best pick!!! From the beautiful winter engagement shoot in Pawtuxet Park to the 100+ person church wedding, reception and awesome wedding pictures at the Veterans Memorial Park chosen by them. Jamal & Lashanna became a part of our family and were loved by all in attendance. My now wife and I hired Jamal after we saw his offer for a free engagement photo shooting for our wedding. At first I was kind of hesitant because nothing is free, but quickly learned I had no reason to be hesitant. What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been an artist, my mind never functioned like the rest of my peers. I was always creating something. The typical 9-5 just doesn't work for me, this is what I was meant to do!
Why should our clients choose you?
I push for the best and nothing but the best not only for myself but for everyone that I work with. I am an honest person who has all my client's best interest in heart, I do this not to see what my clients can do for me but what I can do for my clients. I am very passionate about my art.
