Jessica was the best decision we made for our wedding! From day 1, she was not only punctual, but early to every meeting, she was thorough, proactive and extremely calm and collected in all situations. She has so much experience and knowledge in every area- we were always sure that she was giving us the best help and advice and we could trust her in every decision. We were engaged for a little over 11 months, and we never doubted Jessica's ability or the quality of her work. We even had to postpone the date halfway through the engagement and she handled it effortlessly! (I'm sure it wasn't but she sure made it seem that way!) We cannot tell you how grateful we are for Jessica and for all that she did for us! She is THE ABSOLUTE BEST! We would trust her fully in any event or kind of wedding you may have! When we were first doing my research, we couldn't decide whether or not to do the full or partial service- we ended up doing the full service and we are so glad! Advice to the fellow brides and grooms--- do the full planning service! It's worth every penny and more!!! Not only do you gain a fabulous planner, but you also gain a friend! My husband and I both agree that hiring Jessica was the best decision we made planning our wedding! She was so amazing to work with and kept everything organized and on track with the planning process. She saved us money with vendors and was spot on with her recommendations. I knew I could relax on the big day and let her take the wheel. She made our vision come to life and I didn’t learn about any day-of problems until after they were fixed! Jessica was great through the whole process! When we first got engaged I didn't think I needed a planner - I thought I could handle everything on my own. Well I was definitely wrong about 6 months in, Lol! So I made a post on TWM and everyone raved about Jessica Scott so I messaged her. I interviewed a couple more planners but once I got on a phone call with Jessica and I was telling her my dreams for the wedding and what we had planned and her attitude and personality made me pick her as our wedding planner. She was so excited about it being a July 4th wedding and how I wanted our dogs apart of the whole day and how alpacas would be involved as well. She helped me so much and we definitely went through some complications along the way but she had my back and she was able to make it happen! I was also not the easiest bride with all my different vendors and so so many details. I had dreamed about this wedding for so long that I probably pinned over a thousand pins. So Jessica being so organized helped so much to narrow down exactly what we wanted! When it came to the big day - she is the queen about timing! Her timeline is down to perfection which makes the day go by easier. I felt like the flow of our wedding went so easy and was perfect. We both couldn't have asked for a better day. I couldn't have better things to say about working with Jessica Scott from J. Scott Events. Throughout the planning process, Jessica was positive, organized and resourceful. She has incredible connections with an abundance of vendors. She has many different services including full planning, partial planning, coordination, floral design, bride mentoring, corporate & social events, and á la carte options! My husband and I travel an insane amount for our work. Jessica helped to alleviate any additional stress leading up to the wedding by providing a great amount of communication between all of the parties involved, helpful tips to manage the big day, and always had a calm and collected, positive attitude. She took the reigns on our rehearsal day and made sure all of our attendants knew exactly what they were doing. She made it incredibly fun and enjoyable throughout. On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Jessica had everything organized and handled. Every little detail, every step of the way. My son and his beautiful bride were married on June 1, 2019. I'm still gushing over the memory of that day! Jessica did a fantastic job in assisting us with pre-planning, follow-up, referrals and wedding day was stress free! We knew after our first meeting with Jessica, we would not have to agonize over every detail or panic that we might have missed something. Jessica's fees are extremely reasonable, she is professional, knowledgeable and personable. It was a delight working with her! Jessica Scott Haner with J. Scott Events is one incredible wedding planner and a gift from God. I hired her for the full planning + design. Jessica is absolutely phenomenal at what she does as she planned and executed my destination wedding in Mexico flawlessly. Not to mention, she is about the nicest, most accommodating, and most patient person you will ever meet. I always looked forward to our planning meetings just to sit down and be able to chat with her one-on-one. Her attention to detail, organization, and overall knowledge of the wedding industry and planning process is unbelievable. Every email or text message I sent her way was responded to promptly and thoroughly. Throughout the entire process, she made me feel like I was always being looked out for and she always had my best interest in mind. I was able to relax and enjoy every minute of my wedding knowing Jessica had everything taken care of. For example, on my wedding day I was pretty hungry, but was getting my hair and makeup done so I was a little pre-occupied. Without asking, Jessica shows up to room with a plate full of quesadillas. She had literally read my mind! My younger sister already plans to hire Jessica for her wedding in the future. I had really high expectations for my wedding and I honestly could not be happier with everything Jessica did. I am so grateful for Jessica and the hard work she put in to make my wedding day absolutely perfect. Jessica is just about the sweetest person ever and she did an amazing job organizing our very difficult wedding. We got married in Sundance Square and this required a LOT of vendors. She handled it all perfectly and organized EVERYTHING flawlessly, including getting insurance from every single vendor due to Sundance Square's rules and staying late due to the rain and delays in break down from the vendors. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner and I absolutely cannot imagine doing it without her! If you're considering a wedding planner, just go ahead and hire Jessica!!! Jessica was absolutely awesome! We struggled to find an in-budget coordinator who would also accommodate to us planning the wedding from Kansas City. Jessica took every step to work with our schedules, including making sure she was available on the one weekend we were going to be in Texas before the wedding. She ensured the vendors were on the same page as us without my (now) husband or I lifting a finger. Our wedding day went SO smoothly and I assure you that was because of Jess. From 9:00 A.M. until we left, I was only aware of one "issue" and it was honestly minimal. Everything else was handled without me even knowing about it. I would recommend Jess to anyone who is having a wedding in the Dallas area. I am so thankful for the work she put into our wedding! I am not one to bite my tongue when it comes to something I am not a fan of, but I don't have a single complaint about Jessica. More...

I am so thankful that Jessica at J. Scott Events was recommended to us for our wedding – our Photographer had worked with her multiple times before and highly recommended her! ! I am 100% a planner, so I felt like I had all of the wedding planning under control but really needed someone to be there on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly so I could enjoy our wedding day. Jessica was absolutely a breath of fresh air and made me feel so calm about the process leading up to the wedding and on our special day. Once our guest count was in, she took over and contacted our vendors and got updated invoices all before I could even think to ask her! It was so nice to have someone with a beautifully positive personality that I could work with to help plan and execute our wedding day! Jessica was my wedding coordinator for my wedding on 11/3/18. Let me start this review by saying that I am a very Type A person. I'm one of those people who struggles trusting anyone else to do something. I'd rather just do it myself so I can be sure it is done right. So I knew that it would be difficult for me to put my trust in a Wedding Coordinator. But Jessica made it so easy! My wedding honestly would not have been the same without her. I was able to completely let go and let her run the show. She was on top of everything! She was there hours before the start of my wedding making sure every vendor was there on time and that everything was set up. She checked in with me periodically to see if I needed anything and to assure me that everything was going as planned. She was very assertive in telling people where they were supposed to be, and I appreciated that. She was also great at working with my very young flower girl and ring bearer. They were only toddlers, and Jessica did a great job of "convincing" them to walk down the aisle. And even though I only hired Jessica to be a month-of coordinator, she was there to answer all of my questions throughout the planning process. We had a couple phone calls to chat when I had a question or was freaking out about something. She even negotiated a couple of deals for me with vendors! She went so above and beyond and exceeded all of my expectations! Having Jessica coordinate my wedding was like having a security blanket, lol. She eased my anxieties and made me feel so comfortable that everything would run smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about her. Jessica was my Day of Coordinator but ended up being way more than that! She was always happy to assist with questions or advice well before our wedding day or she was officially “on the clock”. Having her take over the contracts prior to the wedding day and the vendor communication was a huge weight off of our shoulders! We cannot say enough about Jessica’s dedication, professionalism, patience and kindness throughout this entire process and the day of! We seriously cannot imagine how we would’ve done it without her! There were so many logistics, details, dynamics and personalities but she navigated them all beautifully and effortlessly. At least it appeared effortless :0). From the detailed minutae that my fiancé and I threw at her with multiple changes during the planning to the very last thoughtful detail she took care of on the big day (which we probably only know a fraction of), she handled it all. Jessica's tagline is "Events Beyond Expectations" however, she should consider changing it to "Events that Exceed Expectations. " Jessica came highly recommended to me by my florist, and I could not be more grateful for the introduction. Jessica is warm, responsive, prompt, organized and I'm also pretty sure she's Super Woman, but obviously she has to keep that a secret. Being "Type A" I knew it would be hard to hand over the reigns, but Jessica made it extremely easy and I am SO glad we hired her. Our big day went off without a hitch, and if there were any issues - I didn't know about them (which is a true testament to how great she is). It rained on our wedding, but it wasn't an issue at all. I don't know how, but she had the room flipped in 15 minutes... again, Super Woman. During the reception, Jessica was able to read the room and make changes on the fly, she even got the crowd to get up and dance! If you're on the fence about needing a wedding planner / coordinator just take my advice and do it. You 1000% need one and Jessica is the absolute BEST one out there!!! More...

We loved working with J. Scott Events for our wedding! Jessica and her assistant Karen were such a joy to work with and I couldn't have imagined a better wedding coordinator and planner by my side. She was instrumental throughout the entire process. During the month before our wedding, my fiance and I were both going through interviews for new jobs and more, making our wedding second in our mind with everything else going on in life. We were able to focus on those items knowing that Jessica knew our vision and could make all the necessary decisions for us regarding any questions from vendors, set up, creation of the timeline an coordinating the whole wedding party and vendors, etc. She was such a blessing that I didn't stress a bit about the wedding. Jessica knew her stuff completely when it comes to planning a wedding and coordinating multiple parties and more. She was very accommodating and our wedding went without a single issue. Completely amazing! We highly recommend having J. Scott Events as your wedding planner and coordinator. She alone made our wedding day and vision complete. Thank you again J. Jessica was hands down the BEST investment I made on my wedding day. First off, she’s extremely reasonably priced and probably the sweetest & most helpful person I’ve ever met. She is extremely knowledgeable about her job, as well as helpful with advice on how to handle sometimes sticky situations!

I hired her as a month of coordinator, and she started well before her “start date”. I am extremely anal-retentive and I was easily overwhelmed throughout the whole wedding planning process. She put my mind at ease and made the last month before the wedding as easy as it could be! 2 weeks before the wedding I even texted her saying “I feel like I should be more stressed than this!”. She is down to earth, caring, and not afraid to tell people what to do on the wedding day—in the sweetest way! On the wedding night, after hiring a god awful limo service, they didn’t show up (even though there had been multiple confirmations). Jessica literally threw all of our stuff into her car and drove me and my husband ALL THE WAY from Cleburne to DFW at 11 pm!
She is a God Send and was such a blessing to us on our special day. We would not of been able to get through the ceremony or the day without her. I will recommend her to everybody I know getting married! �
