My elderly mother had a bad roof leak and I live 800 miles away so I called several roofers in the area and I came across Jimmy on Angie's List. Im so grateful for him and his crew. I had explained my situation to him and he told me not to worry that he will take care of it. Well once it stop raining he was at my mothers repairing and resealing her roof and NOT once did he ask for a deposit or how he was going to get paid. Once the roof had been repaired he called me and said it was completed and I mailed him a check. He also sent me pictures of before and after. Jimmy is very professional, honest, takes pride in his work and stands by his work not to mention very reasonable in price. He's our roofer and I won't call anyone else!!! James is honest, hard working, always so kind and polite and very responsive! The first time he did work on our house was after a big storm that made him very busy, but he was able to squeeze us in anyways. And he was honest about his time line so I knew what to expect. We had a slow leak and called a few local roofers. One we were going to use gave us a quote then disappeared and stopped answering calls. I called J Parker and they stopped by the next day, matched the reasonable quote from their competitor and did the work a couple days later, even between all of this rain! I want to start off by saying I’m a contractor my own self and that I’ve used several different roofing companies until I met James Parker. This guy is a 1st class act he is always on time and does everything he says he is going to do. His team of guys that work with him are always very polite and professional and always do what they are suppose to do. James has done 3 commercial roofs for me, 1 of them is a flat roof, and 2 residential roofs. Price has always been very competitive but most important in my eyes the quality is outstanding! Great experience, from beginning till end. I found Jim Parker online and gave him a call. He gave me an estimate the next day to repair my roof, replace my gutters, reattach some siding, and paint the rest of the siding (so everything matched). He was the only contractor that would be able to do everything without sub contracting. His price was great and the work was completed within a week of signing the contract. More...
