A neighborhood gem!  It's not the easiest place to spot and you might miss out on some pretty awesome ice cream if you're relying on the store name. .. I would say the main attraction to this place is definitely the ice cream! They have vegan ice cream, boozy ice cream, and regular ice cream ranging from classic flavors to trendy.  Another major draw for this place is the outstanding customer service.  The owner is always smiling and happy to make recommendations.  If you seem unsure he's happy to provide tons of samples and topping recommendations when you decide on a flavor or two!Prices are beyond reasonable and the quality of the ice cream is on par with some other overpriced Brooklyn offerings.  If you're in the neighborhood I would highly recommend you make a stop. I stopped by J & J Delicious Cakes because they had a sign out advertising gelato.  I tried the pistachio gelato and it was the best pistachio ever to have graced my mouth.  It was so good that I tried the Salted caramel.  I think I had a religious experience.   It. I was walking down the street on a quest for ice cream when I stumbled into this shop. The guy at the counter was so friendly and nice! I told him I was craving chocolate and he was all "I have just the thing for you!" And gave me a few samples. I ended up getting the java chip and dark chocolate chip. GO HERE. Service, product and price are all fantastic. The guy behind the counter was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He allowed me the time to decide a gelato (from a VERY extensive flavor menu) without appearing annoyed at my indecisiveness. I was looking for a cake spot to pick up a last minute cake for my mom for her birthday(she is not a big cake eater). After searching yelp and checking out the reviews I went in amd was extremely pleased. The guy who served me (not sure, if he was the owner) was happy and excited and the greeting was fantastic. I’ve known this man before his storefront. He has always delivered consistency with his pastries. I love that his pastries are not overwhelmingly sweet and you could enjoy the flavors and not feel too guilty. You wont be disappointed! The people who work here are the friendliest! Had such a pleasant experience picking up a 6-inch red velvet cake I ordered over the phone for my friend's birthday. I placed the order at 10:15pm Saturday night and picked it up in the evening Sunday (but it was ready before that). Loved how dense the cake was and it was a very yummy cake overall. The cake was also quite tall, so a single slice was actually a lot. But no one was complaining! Also, I really appreciated that the candles they sold were very cheap (only 5 cents each). They were basic candles, but other places overcharge for basic candles. Great experience ordering a birthday cake here and will definitely be back! More...

I give this company 5 stars because they honestly deserve it for his consultation, effectiveness, timeliness and customer service. Joel took my last minute order for a large cake right when I walked in. He didn't sell me on settling for something that was there. He was patient and made sure I got what I wanted at a GREAT PRICE. Not the biggest fan of the frosting texture on the carrot cake, almost like a "too buttery buttercream" if I had to characterize it, but the cakes themselves are very good both in terms of flavor and texture. Lovely shop. Lovely service. I've never had the cake, but this is my favorite ice cream in the neighborhood. I've tried the salted caramel, the fig newton and -- personal favorite -- the slushy, refreshing rum raisin. You need to try the lemon cup cakes and the blue or green ones too. They all have distinct flavors. The lemon is my favorite. My favorite ice cream is the Rum (w/ real rum) Raisin or if they run out, the Lemon Champagne. I've known the owner for a little bit and asked him if he could give us customers more of that delicious frosting and he complied! It was that easy! Super nice guy! I've known him since he was wee wittle business man selling door to door to nail salons his amazing cakes! He's blessed and hope that he will stay that way. PS if you stop by there, please tell him to make bacon vanilla ice cream with bourbon or rum! PSS I would add any of the scoops of ice cream w/ a couple of mini lemon cup cakes with it for more zest! Where do I start! Firstly, the owner is thee most professional & kind hearted individual ever. He LOVES what he does and I absolutely am now a fan will definitely be a frequent visitor. I needed a last minute carrot cake for my husbands birthday and he was so accommodating.Not only did he make a wonderful cake, he was also so kind to myself and children when we picked it up that I left leaving like he was family.Now, I personally have never been a carrot cake fan, got it only for my husband but OMG I couldn't stop eating that cake! It was AMAZING! Not too sweet, very moist, just everything you'd appreciate in a great cake. I also tried the gelato and I highly recommend you give it a try.
