J. Christopher Architecture is a full service, luxury residential architectural practice focused on enriching the lives of others through personal and unique design. With 25 years of experience in residential architecture I founded J. Christopher Architecture to share my underlying philosophy that a home can, and should be, much more than just shelter. Each residence is treated as an individual expression of the owner, born from the context of the owners’ personal story, and inspired by the sense of place and physical characteristics from the environment in which it is sited. By keeping my office small and the number of projects to a minimum, I am able to give my full heart and focus to each and every aspect of the process. This assures a much higher level of Principal involvement and care which I greatly enjoy.

The small scale direct interaction with a person or family and our collaborative investigation into how a home can uniquely suit them is the primary reason I have chosen to practice residential architecture. I greatly enjoy working with my clients and I rarely have any challenges that cannot be overcome with open and honest communication.
