Jessica was so awesome to work with. I won a photo session for my family with her. She did everything we wanted and then some. I've been out of work due to some invasive leg surgery I had and her drawing couldn't have come at a better time. I hadn't had professional photos of my family done since my youngest was born in 2011. Heck I hadn't even had professional photos done of my youngest. We got shots of the family together, my husband and I, my husband and the kids, me and the kids, the kids together and then the kids individually. My oldest is photogenic and my youngest....she's only photogenic if she's taking a selfie. Jessica was really patient with my youngest who would look everywhere except at Jessica. I did a photo session with Jessica on the beach when she was first starting her photography business and it was amazing! We did a small session of me and my now ex husband on our honeymoon. Even though I didn't keep the ones we took as a couple I still have some of the solo shots framed on my wall as my favorite pictures of myself. I would recommend her to everyone!! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret is capturing the emotion and story behind the image. Most importantly taking the time to get to know the clients.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What hobbies do they enjoy the most? Are they sports fans? Is there anything about the clients lives that they might want Incorporated into the images?
What do you love most about your job?
I love everything about Photography! I am so blessed to be able to use my talent as my career. Plus share it with others! There is nothing more rewarding than offering the service that I provide! ??
What inspired you to start your own business?
My husband actually inspired me to start my own business. Lol! One day he said "that's it! We are getting you a professional camera!" See I have always been the one taking the pictures. I have always had a camera around my neck, infact even our personalized wedding cake topper had a camera around the neck! Secondly, I had inquired about having our own family photos done, I was appalled by how little we would get for so much money. I told myself I was going to change that. I would make sure my clients received every perfect pose, and never have to choose between great images.
Why should our clients choose you?
My loyalty and honesty. My passion and motivation to provide my clients with an experience they won't forget is unserpassed. My drive to continue to learn new things and to always consider my clients visions when going into a session is untamable. My clients will always feel like they are apart of the decision making, and that there wants and needs are heard. My clients will be able to put an image on the wall and not only see, but feel how it relates to them and there families.
