Out of the 4 quotes i received for a loft conversion, IZ Livingley came in the better one. Nothing was too much trouble for the guys, even down to the smallest of things. They worked constantly, only stopping now and again for a break. They were prompt and very efficient. All of the parts, even down to the nails & glue, were itemised, which is one of the many things i liked about this company. IZ livingly home improvements is a fantastic company who do all their work to a very high standard. Nothing is too much trouble and if you are struggling with ideas of what you want to do Ivars will help you achieve your vision and bring them to life. His motto and his teams motto is "nothing is a problem" The team work extremely hard and the 4 weeks they worked at our house I never saw them take a lunch break working from 8.30 a.m through to 5.00p.m every day. From my dad - Peter Fauset (not on Facebook): Ivars Zonenbergs is a remarkable, charming, young man who hails from Latvia, yet has settled in Sheffield to set up a successful building company employing about 10 people. When I first spoke to him about the building works to our house I was concerned about possible problems of communication and workmanship. I need not have worried because all his workforce speak English and their workmanship is excellent. Unlike many English builders, whose workforce tend to specialize in one trade only - whether it be bricklayer, joiner, plumber, etc. – these guys can multi-task and can put their hands to most trades. When the company starts a job, they commit themselves to it until it is finished and do not disappear after a week or so to start another job, as some English builders tend to do! Before the job started, Ivars provided a fair and detailed estimate of the works for discussion, and was more than willing to accommodate changes as the job progressed. He also personally supervised the job as it developed and passed on any discounts from building materials suppliers to us. The workmen are discrete and affable and, unlike any British builder I have ever come across, when the job was almost complete, a cleaning lady appeared to scrub clean all the rooms and areas where the builders had worked. IZ home living improvements is an extremely professional company. From the very first time you meet Ivars, you know that the project that you have in mind whatever the the size will be done to an extremely high standard. His team work very hard and are respectful of your needs and the surroundings they will be working in. when they renovated our bathroom they made as little mess and disruption as possibe to the rest of the house and made sure they cleared up any mess at the end of each working day. Ivars came out on numerous occasions to check that the work was being carried out to the high standards he expects from his workforce.The bathroom looks amazing and is unrecognisable from what it once was. Ivars and his team have done a very professional job refurbishing our main bedroom. The work included installing a new ceiling, lighting and power sockets, plastering and repainting the room. As well as laying a new floor and wardrobe fit out. The initial detailed quote and clear invoicing made it easy to keep track of costs.
