Ivan is really a fantastic photographer. Very dedicated, passionate, highly knowledgeable about the art of the portrait, he took an incredible care of the entire shooting experience. He makes you feel at ease, with a great sense of humour. I was not at all used to being photographed and he succeeded in making this new experience a fun and exciting moment! His direction and guidance are super useful and very subtle at the same time. You don't feel like you are being watched. It feels extremely natural. Plus, we had great discussions about Arts, Politics and a lot of exciting stuff. I throughly loved the entire process of working with Ivan from the initial email all the way through to receiving my images. I had chosen two photographers I wanted to work with and it was without question that Ivan was the BEST choice! His initial communication made a huge impression. I already knew his work was amazing but when he sent the response to my inquiry, it did not feel like a generic response. Fast forward to shooting day, I was excited and not a bit nervous because of the great communication prior with Ivan about everything I was concerned about, even my hair. Ivan's studio was great! At its heart, portrait photography is about people. And I love taking pictures of people. That's why I don't put any time limits on my sessions - we shoot as many different looks as you want.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Big commercial studios offer limited possibility for creativity. Running my own business means I can work with each client in a way that adds my unique style to the images they need.

My approach is unique. It's all about expression and what your headshot communicates to the viewer. Yes, I use all the latest technology - the most advanced lighting systems, the best cameras and lenses - but my main focus is on coaching you so that the final image feels natural, relaxed, confident and professional. We review the images together as we go, making changes as necessary.
