Ivan is amazing! We couldn't ask for a better photographer for our wedding last year. Ivan is a true professional at his craft and a pleasant person to be around. The pictures taken at the City Hall were brilliant. Even though the place was crowded, Ivan managed to create photographs on the Grand Staircase and in the main hall as if we were alone there. As a San Franciscan, he also took us for a photo-journey around the unique and most beautiful spots around the city. Several photographs were ready within a day or so and Ivan was as kind as to print and bring them over to our hotel. And all of the pictures were ready really quickly and in a convenient format for downloading. We received our wedding beautifully captured in all of its heart to heart moments. Ivan takes great photos and is easy to work with. Â We contacted him and he responded immediately. Â He arrived at the venue early so that he was prepared from the start. Â He was at our wedding for two hours and didn't stop taking photos. Â Within 24 hours we had the preview of the first 100 photos.His photos are crisp and professional. Â He was extremely careful with the formal pictures, to avoid shadows, and make sure the group composition would be perfect for each shot. Â The candid photos are very impressive. Â Because he was constantly taking photos, we eventually didn't notice that he was taking them and the candid shots reflect each individual just the way we know them. If you are looking for an excellent, wonderful, amazing photographer look no further! We stumbled upon Ivan and could not be happier with the wedding photography he provided. He is a lot of fun to be around, easy-going and will even back into a cactus to get the best shot (note: Stanford's cactus garden, though awesome for photos, is like a landmine for a photographer). Ivan was happy to accommodate our ever-changing schedule for the big day and did more than we ever expected. Even more astounding is how quickly he works. Within a week he had posted a gallery of our wedding from the getting ready to the end of the evening. Within three weeks we had 4 DVDs with more than 1600 photos he had taken and several prints we chose, as well as a photobook on the way.I get misty-eyed when I look at the photos as they are so beautifully done and so detailed that it is like I am in that moment all over again.My husband and I have both agreed that when the time comes for any future professionally taken photos, we will always contact Ivan as he is quite a gem and I can't imagine anyone doing more outstanding work than him. Ivan takes the best pictures! Â We hired him for our wedding at Stern Grove and in only two hours he took over 1000 pictures. Â He provided all the pictures to us on a CD, created an online wedding album for us, and make several 8x10 prints for us. Â He was so helpful in suggesting photos at the wedding and capturing our guests having fun. Â Ivan is very responsive via email and phone and thought of lots of things to improve the pictures that never occurred to us around lighting and angles. Â We highly recommend him for any wedding! Ivan is fantastic. My wife and I booked him for our City Hall wedding and he was simply amazing. We're absolutely delighted with the shots, he has a fantastic eye for non-posed shots, and he was just assertive enough to have us go to several locations. He got every single location spot-on, sometimes being very patient for passers by to move on.Ivan really knows City Hall and the whole process so that was a huge help too.Best of all, we booked a 'Craigslist Special' 2 hour City Hall deal for $375, roughly half of what other photographers were charging for the same time. He told me that each additional hour would cost $175 or part thereof if less than 30 minutes. I would conservatively estimate he did 6 hours work for us. We met him at 1pm and left him at 5pm, and then he was at our reception for I don't know how long! He only charged us ONE extra hour, amazing, and a much-needed break. Weddings are expensive! Â Ivan allows you full use of all original images as well as long as they're not commercially used, which differs again from most I researched. Book him without hesitation! More...

I needed a photographer asap to do an outdoor 2 hour photo session of a group of 9 ladies. We all grew up together and one was getting married. Ivan's website was very informative and so I sent an e-mail for more details. He responded very fast and addressed all questions. I went ahead and booked him for our shoot and we were constantly in contact.We connected the day before our shoot and he was very professional and threw out many great ideas and suggestions. Ivan was on time and ready to go on the day of our session. He took charge of pose and location, but was very open to suggestions. He even gave us an extra hour+ free of charge just to get to the right location and snap the best shots. He started uploading the photos right away the next day, as mention in our previous conversations, and sent me a link to view them as he worked on edits. I was extremely excited. After he finished, I received the CD in the mail in less than a week after our session. Ivan also offers unlimited shots. I was surprised to learn how large our file was. Over 420+ photos! I was able to find many favorite shots in each location and transition. He offered one more location after our session had been long over. If we weren't on a time crunch, we would have jumped on it.
