All the 5 star ratings here don't lie. At first I was sure videography was out of my mind and surely budget however after finding island paradise website I must admit I was a bit skeptical at what I would get for the price. We were not disapointed! Marty was amazing, the footage was great. My husband and I love the highlight video and the full coverage of our ceremony and reception. Marty is awesome. He is very professional, prompt and trustworthy. I originally found Marty when my mother in law tasked me to find someone to record her mothers funeral. I thought that was odd and honestly wasn't exactly comfortable asking any videographer if they did or were willing to do a funeral but thank goodness while searching the web I found Marty. His website was the only one that I could find that included funerals. I was so happy. I contacted him via text message and he responded right away. Within a half an hour everything was arranged with a drawn contract. He honestly is the best. He was very discrete while filming the funeral and we were extremely impressed with the video he made. Marty was absolutely wonderful. I am so in love with the videos he took on my wedding day. He captured all the important parts. My ceremony was on the beach and it was kind of windy, but luckily Marty had small microphones that clipped onto the groom's and officiant's ties so everything that was said could be heard on the video. Worth every penny...even with our poor Canadian exchange rate!Marty was very professional on our wedding day! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ISLAND PARADISE VIDEO!!!My husband and I just received the videos from our AUG 27 wedding last night. Marty is excellent! We used him to create a video slideshow for our daughters 1st birthday party. His editing was excellent and he made video clips in our slideshow perfect. He responds quickly and is very attentive. We also decided to use him for our grandmothers upcoming funeral services. Marty shot our June 22, 2014 wedding at Turtle Bay Resort. His communication and professionalism are excellent. He is a true professional that has been in the business for over 25 years, so the combination of experience and knowledge shows in his work. Although he is only one person, he uses multiple cameras to capture different angles and creates the feeling of teams of people rather than one, which we found amazing. His editing is incredible and his sound quality is fantastic. The groom and officiant both get a mic which is very important to the sound quality. We've gotten so many compliments on the quality of his work from our family and friends. His song choices fit us perfectly. Even better were his rates. On our wedding day he was there early and left late, capturing some of the other moments that we didn't expect, and are now extremely thankful for. He was very easygoing and worked very well with our photographer, which is important for such a special day. We even received our videos more than a month ahead of schedule. Marty is very affordable and very easy to work with! He replied pretty quickly when I was inquiring for his service. The calendar on his website is very helpful too to check if my wedding date was still available. He arrived on time during my wedding day, was very professional and had a really positive energy that relaxed me and my bridal party. He delivered the video on time and when we watched it, we couldn't help but cry! He captured our wedding and made it into a great movie that is very enjoyable to watch!! Marty shot our June 22, 2014 wedding at Turtle Bay Resort and I can't say enough good about him. His communication and professionalism were excellent. On our wedding day he was there early and left late, capturing some of the other moments that we didn't expect, but are extremely grateful for. He was approachable & easygoing, worked well with our photographer and never interfered with her shots. One concern my husband had about videography was whether there would be a camera crew in everyone's face, as he didn't want that to take away from the event. To our delight, we and our guests hardly knew he was there during the ceremony & reception. He stayed respectfully in the background and captured the event from multiple angles as it happened.We got our videos more than a month ahead of schedule. We've received many compliments on the quality of his work from our family and friends. Although he is only one person, he used multiple cameras to capture unique angles and awesome special effects. His editing, lighting and sound quality are impressive. The groom and officiant both got a mic, which is very important to the sound quality and aesthetics of the ceremony (you don't want the officiant trying to hold out his mic while you say your vows, it looks so awkward!). He even went above and beyond by coordinating music with our acoustic guitarist. The result was so touching it brings tears to our eyes. Even better were his rates. I would recommend him to anyone. Marty did such an awesome job I wanted everyone looking for a videographer to know Marty's quality. The moments he captured in the video made it priceless. He truly knows what he is doing and does it very well. He orchestrated us to walk here, walk there, and the end work was spectacular. Not only did Marty capture the priceless moments, the way he edited our video was so smooth, i can't believe it's not butter. First of all, I was very impressed with our wedding video and we could not have asked for anything else.  Marty and staff at Island Paradise, you folks were amazing!  The video captured our special moments from the getting ready pictures, to the "I do" vows, to our first dance, my song to Jon, cake cutting ceremony, and so much more.I can't help but shed a tear when I watch the video with Jon.My favorite part of the video was the wedding highlight slide show, where you added our first dance song "As Beautiful As You" by Wayne Brady to different parts of the video.  You captured our tears as we said our vows to each other and I will cherish that moment for the rest of my life.Thank you for being so accomodating with our wedding plans, especially because our ceremony started at 8am and reception ended at 2pm.I highly recommend your services for weddings, first birthday parties, and any other special events.Jon and I would like to thank you Marty and your staff for capturing this special day on video.We will cherish it for the rest of our lives!Love, Jill and Jon Teraizumi More...

We had the pleasure of working with Marty for our wedding video in April 2013. We had a very unique situation in which we would not be in Hawaii (since it was a destination wedding) until the day of my wedding. We spoke on the phone several times and since the very first call he made me feel very comfortable and confident in his work. I had never been to Hawaii before and was nervous about hiring someone over the phone for our special day. But he made me feel at ease about the whole process and assured me that he would capture all the important details I wanted.We got our wedding video a couple weeks ago (much sooner than we expected!!) and it was AMAZING! We are so happy with the work he did and know that he put so much time and dedication into it. We didnt know what to expect since we had never met him before then and hoped it would be decent. But it exceeded our expectations! He also was very reasonable with his pricing and even worked with on that with us!
