Place is very nice and cozy inside! Corn hole and games outside. All around great atmosphere! Friendly staff and very accommodating to my service dog
We just stopped by this place while out and about enjoying the Fall color. We weren't expecting anything too much out of such a small town and were pleasantly surprised by Iron Tree. We had their Sunday brunch and the brisket melt and Ranchers meal were extremely good. The potatoes and the fresh made bread were the highlight of the meal. We also had a slice of their giant cheesecake and loved it. I would highly recommend this place if you're passing through, good food and friendly service and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy a crisp Colorado afternoon. More...
Good food, good drinks, great dessert and a wonderful outdoor seating area that has games for kids and adults to play. We will definitely stop here again next time we're in Florissant.

Best Chicken Fried Steak and roasted veggies and I’ve ever had and I love chicken fried steak! Pork gravy is fantastic!
Their veggie omelette was amazing! And their house made bread on the side was so buttery and delicious. Will be returning here soon to try out their burgers made from local raised cows!
Made a quick stop for lunch on my way to the mountains. This place is adorable, the staff is very nice, and I’m not joking, the burger I ate may have been the best burger I’ve eaten in my life. Move over Bobby Flay, the home made buns at iron tree are out of this world. I’ll 100% be coming back and telling all my friends to come as well. More...
It's close to great. Food is really good! Keep it up! The calamari is awesome but the price for how much you get is waaay out of proportion. Need to find better servers. Twice I've been there and I've audibly heard the complaints and grumbles of the servers. I've been a waiter many times over. While it's acceptable to think to yourself about how much you hate your job, it should not be heard by the patrons. Quality of the service is not quite there. Need at least, one additional bathroom. Their beer is good but they run out of product a lot. This place has a lot of potential, they just need to get some things dialed in. Again food is pretty awesome! I'll be back. More...
Stop! You must go and eat and drink here. I was so amazed about this place. The menu selection is awesome! I had the breakfast burrito and it was pretty good and filling. My friends order was bomb as $hit, we had bloody Mary's, Mamosa's and boozy coffee. I will be back next year when I am in town again. I can not wait.... I just hope they have koozies next time... but I did get a sticker. More...
I have been to Iron Tree a couple of with my wife. We have had the Cuban sandwich, the falafel burger, the Bella Burger and the grilled brussel sprouts appetizer. Everything that we have bad sk far has been excellent! More...
Fast and friendly service. Served quickly as the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. The food was excellent. The smoked brisket was tender and juicy, the mashed potatoes were very good (served with skin and all, which is healthier than peeled potatoes), the gravy on the potatoes was perfect, and the asparagus was delicious. It was a ton of food so we needed to go boxes for the leftovers. We splurged on a slice of cheesecake and OMG was it delicious!!! And the slice was HUGE. One of us ordered a home brewed beer and it was quite good. We'll definitely be going back! More...
Excellent stop in route to Colorado Springs! A must stop for great food and wonderful service! A true gem!!
Great hamburgers and friendly staff!!
Would have licked the plate if wasn't socially unacceptable. Cinnamon roll killer! Service sincere, friendly and quality - thank you Carol!
We fell in love with this little place while we were in town. Actually ate there two days in a row, it was that good! First day we had crispy brussels, apple walnut goat salad, and the Florissant philly. Second day we had the pretzel bites (holy cow were these awesome! I'll never be able to eat pretzels anywhere else again!), Caesar salad with chicken and the pepperoni pizza. Everything was fantastic, we will definitely be back when we are in the area again. More...
Amazing food and staff. So friendly. Everything is made fresh to order. One of our favorite places.
From Texas: Fast, friendly, peaceful, and absolutely delicious. Good beer, great service, and fantastic food.
Great place in an out of the way place. Tried 2 of their beers and both were great! Reasonable prices and everything was homemade!!
Best place in Colorado, food is good, beer is great. Owners are very nice and cordial. Truly the gem of a small town.
Love the food!!! Service can be a bit slow depending on when you go, but it is good service. You must try the chicken & waffles, just wish the serving was bigger. Burgers & fries are great as are the appetizers. DO NOT miss the desserts, in particular the cheese cake is fantastic! Oh yeah good beer too brewed on site More...
Excellent place to eat. The staff were excellent too..
We received a warm welcome from the staff, who were friendly and attentive. I had a burger and my partner had a salad. I also ordered the Brussel sprouts, which were delicious along with the other meals. Dessert was the blueberry pie, which was great. All in all a great little gem in the Colorado countryside. Highly recommended. More...
Fantastic food-- worth the wait! Server (Carol) worked hard to keep up with the 9 tables inside/ out and kept up with it all calmly! The hummingbirds were a welcomed ambiance to the morning! Will return if I'm in the area again! More...
Terrific food. And live music tonight from local talent topped it off with good tunes. Will definitely go back again!
Great little place with a very nice setting and great selection of food and deserts.
Boasting a truly "from scratch" menu, their dishes we tried were fantastic. It is such a nice treat, for anyone looking, to be crafted great plates with produce and meat all collected within 10 miles of the homey building and prepared the same day. Worth the wait. Worth the drive. Worth the cost. Dishes range many taste buds (warning: poppers have seeds), with picturesque fresh baked goods to go for desert. Thanks for a wonderful meal, friendly service and live music! More...
Amazing sandwiches. Great beer.
At the suggestion of our concierge we went after other plans fell through. One of the best things that happened to us. The Pig and Fig pizza was marvelously constructed. The Iron Tree Plate deserves being named after the restaurant. The proprietor is engaging and able to get you to happily party with you money with his character and deserved confidence in the quality of his fair. Also get the lemon lavender cake, it is light, fresh, delightful, and huge. More...
This review is for Iron Tree Restaurant, Bakery, and Brewery (weird combo, I thought). Girls weekend away brought us here for dinner, although I have had quite a few friends visit for breakfast and say it is delicious. If you are headed past Woodland Park to Florissant, do make a stop! They have their own beer--some unique flavors. I tried the Pink Haze, and Carrot one that they have, and went with the "Killer" Kolsch. Delicious! We tried the Fried Pickles--soo good and crispy, Mary's Summer Time Salad with chicken, The California Pizza, and the Panko Parm and Truffle Mac N Cheese. Service was great--they have a nice patio. They close at 8 pm on a Friday night, but as we approached closing time--people were still happily ordering and there seemed to be no rush to kick people out. I would certainly go back. More...

We stopped looking for coffee on the way to Breckenridge. We found more. My husband and I were treated to amazing customer service. The Southwest omelette made my heart and stomach happy. The latte? Well that made my soul happy. If y’all are ever traveling through? Stop to see this wonderful business. You won’t be sorry. More...
A true Colorado Gem! We've been driving through Florissant for years and somehow missed the opening of this wonderful small town restaurant with amazing food. We came on a Sunday around noon and were presented the brunch menu. We both had Bloody Mary's which were super good - a great combo of flavor and spice. I had chicken waffles which was the best I've had - a large, hot fluffy waffle with crispy fried chicken chunks, savory bacon, whipped cream and hot maple syrup. My wife had the IT omelette which was made with the fluffiest eggs, some of the best ham either of us had ever tasted, thick bacon, sautéed mushrooms and high quality Swiss cheese. We definitely recommend you stop by on your way through the mountains. We'll see you there. More...
Love this place! Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Tim was fun and friendly. Did I mention the great food! If you don’t try it you are missing out!
Friendly staff, good eats and brews.
This place is great! Probably a bit off the beaten path for most people, but every time we are here I'm pleasantly surprised. Pizza is awesome, as are the street tacos. Delicious beer brewed right here and outdoor seating More...
New menu is excellent! 2 thumbs up and 5 stars from us!
Food was amazing. We had fish and chicken fried steak. I don't eat broccoli and it was amazing. Will return when come back to visit family again.
From scratch kitchen! Everything is delicious and made right in house, including all beers on tap. Vegetables are locally sourced, along with much more!
Delicious food. Very friendly. Farm to table atmosphere. Cozy place. Great desert.
Wonderful food, wonderful service. Place was busy and with one server he gave excellent a+ service and the food was still quick and amazing. As an service industry person myself I was extremely pleased and we know we industry people can be picky sometimes. Hands down favorite food i had while in Colorado and will come back if(when) we visit agian. More...
We had outdoor plans and ended up visiting this place because of the rain. SO GLAD we did. The food, beer, and service was perfection! Very kid friendly with games and the dessert was delicious! More...
Great refined, locally sourced restaurant. A hidden gem in the sleepy mountain town of Florissant. Easily the best restaurant for at least 35 miles in any direction. Our waiter, Tim, was able to get us in right before closing even on a slammed Saturday night. He warned us the busy kitchen would take a little bit, but it was well worth the wait. This place would compete among the best restaurants in Denver. It really stands out in the area it's in. And for the quality of food you get and the size of the beer and wine pours, it's definitely reasonably priced. More...
The food and service is incredible!! Home cooked meals and desserts! Definitely coming back on a regular basis!
Such a fun, out -of -the way place!!! Excellent food and service..love the beer choices too..definitely will be back
Perfect outdoor ambiance and food! My 4 year old says it’s the best pizza he’s ever had!
Fantasic food, service, and atmosphere. It is worth the drive out here. Check it out. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
Spent a week locally with friends. Steven and Stephen. Loved coming to the restaurant they speak about all the time. Everything was good. They even made my wife a special birthday cake with the proper advance notice. I really enjoyed the cheddar and bacon burger. Yummy. Thank you IronTree for feeding us all during our week of adventures. More...

“From Scratch” means just that! They make it all themselves!! Delicious food, great people! Take the time to experience Iron Tree! It’s worth the drive!!
amazing food and awesome service!! first time experience was great! I'm definitely coming back more often!
Great food! One of the best brisket sandwiches I’ve had. Excellent Reuben as well. Fantastic service. Beautiful bakery
Such a great stop off of Hwy 24 they have everything from a scratch bakery and kitchen searching up hyper local fresh organically grown produce from Florissant. If your not after food, the outdoor beer garden is a great place to enjoy some of the 16 home made beers they have on draft. That also sell beer Togo in cans if your headed into the mountains and want to bring some craft beer with you. More...
So they just changed the menu but I had pretty much everything on the old menu and I'm working my way through the new one. All the classics are fantastic, anything with green chili or beer cheese I would strongly recommend. The pizzas are great and if they aren't too busy they let me do some minor customizations. The pork and chicken tacos are my favorite of the tacos and the burgers are always a safe bet. The bbq plate is good with brisket or pork but over time I think I've started to lean towards the pork more. There's new sandwiches on the menu and the Cuban and philly are both fantastic, can't wait to try the others. Will probably try the Ruben next time. When it's really busy there you might have to wait to be seated or get ur food, but this happens anywhere with good food. I like to make a to go order online and pick it up when ya ready if I know it's busy. Overall it's my favorite place in teller county. More...
A truly unique restaurant.
Discovering this wonderful restaurant in the sleepy town of Florissant was one of the highlights of our trip. The food was delicious due to the local sourced ingredients and the service was super friendly! The atmosphere was was familial and everyone made you feel like you were a long-standing local! The menu changes daily and is made fresh; you might think the wait is a little bit long but it's not fast good! Feel free to grab a deck of cards or a board game while you wait - you won't regret it! A great neighborhood restaurant, wonderful bake goods, farm to table foods and accomadating to special dietary needs
We ate here for the first time last Saturday and it was wonderful! Fun atmosphere and great service by Andy. Was a little too cool to sit outside but the patio looked inviting. Loved that we got to taste-test three of their beers before ordering. The smoked brisket sandwich and Iron Tree burger were both delicious with the homemade chips and fries great sides. I got a slice of lemon lavender cake to go and it was heavenly. We'll definitely be returning as want to try the fried brussel sprouts (they were out when we visited) and buy some cinnamon rolls to go. More...
The Space Cadet IPA is dank AF.
Love this place! Great food great atmosphere!! Service is incredible, wait for food I might be long for some, but considering it’s cooked fresh and not pre made or frozen it’s understandable .
Iron Tree is worth even a 100 mile detour! The beers, brewed on premises, are a delightful discovery, with fragrant IPA's and rich, full-flavored stouts. The avocado fries are incredible, the bakery makes fabulous scones, and now we have to try everything on the menu,, it's just too good to miss anything. Although a smallish establishment, it has a warm ambiance and friendly clientele that makes even strangers feel like they are in a neighborhood pub. Can't wait to go back! More...

Great food! The homemade bread is fabulous!
It's a lovely, very clean little place, with clean restrooms, a nice beer garden (we saw hummingbirds!) and a staff that remains pleasant under pressure. My husband and I went yesterday for Mother's Day, and the place was packed. In spite of the place being packed and the restaurant slowly running out of things, our waitress remained attentive and pleasant the whole time. The food was good, though not great, but good enough that I want to go back and try their regular menu on a less crowded occasion. The beer I tried (Pink Haze) was nice and light but a bit sour. I'll try one of their other beers as well next time and see how it is. More...
What a great surprise! We were camping at Eleven Mile State Park and decided to go out to eat to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The closest restaurant was 15 miles away and that was the Iron Tree. Super friendly staff and fantastic food. They also brew some terrific beer. I can't say enough about this place. If you are in the area it is a must stop! More...

We went for lunch originally and came back for dinner the same night and lunch the next day, the food was that good and we wanted to try that much on the menu! You will not regret a visit here, just give yourself enough time to hang out and relax More...
The burger was good, the desert was phenomenal.
My husband and I have been to Iron Tree three times so far as we are new to the area. Absolutely love the food, the atmosphere and wait staff. I just discovered this fantastic spot last month and am totally sold on it! I've been four times in the last month and each time have been treated well and the food has been fantastic! I love the selection of beer brewed on site and the quality of the food is outstanding. The Sunday brunch menu is wonderful as is the regular lunch menu. I've introduced several friends to this place and they will be coming back too. Try it. You won't be disappointed. More...

This is a hidden gem in Teller County. Very attentive and friendly staff with amazingly fresh and tasty food. I would recommend the Mac Down as a spectacular dish. I will definitely return!
Everything!!! They are great ☺️
Stopped for dinner with a party of 12. Found a gem hidden in the mountains. Food and beer was fantastic! Service was fast and super friendly. If I lived closer this would be at the top of my list of places to eat on a regular basis. If you're in the area this is a must try, strongly recommend it! My only disappointment is that it's not in my neighborhood. More...
March 2019Being on vacation from Texas, we wanted to eat in a local restaurant and we could NOT have chosen any better. We ate lunch one day and breakfast another. If you like your veggies like me, you really need to try the "Meadow" pizza!! Crispy and tender with goat cheese, it can't be beat. OH - it also warms up excellently in the oven. My husband's burger was cooked perfectly! We were told by our waitress that everything this is locally sourced and freshly made everyday. Two CIA trained chefs opened this place and you should treat yourself to a superb meal here. You won't be disappointed! Thanks! More...
Looking for some great breakfast? Stop in, you won't be disappointed! Awesome gem. Food is homemade (bread, bacon, beer, sour cream, etc.) and service very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is relaxed and calming. Second time here and loved it again! Great beer, great food! Will be coming back on a regular
I have been here twice, both times have been excellent. Other than food service being a bit slow, our visits have been perfect. They now have their own beers on tap, pumped right up from the basement. I recommend the Scottish Ale. Their approach is farm-to-table with local meats and vegetables. Presentation is excellent and pricing is not cheap, but reasonable for the quality. They have good gluten free options and if you like burgers theirs are great. They will cook it really rare if you want and the buns are homemade. The desserts look great but I have not had one. You can get here in a half hour from downtown Colorado Springs and it is worth it, plus the drive is pretty. You can visit the national park in Florissant and do some nice hiking, then pop over to Iron Tree and have a great meal. Makes for a nice day. More...

Absolutely impressed. Cute ambiance. Pleasant and helpful staff. Scratch kitchen. Party of 5...we had the beer cheese burger, the Bella burger, the blu and bacon burger, and the ham/pineapple pizza. The portions were large, and the prices were perfect. I also like the playful way they plate the food. Everyone loved their meals. I had the pizza so that's all I can directly speak for....the dough was perfect, the sauce was unique and quite good, and the ham was real shaved ham and so good. If feel like they really pay attention to the details and care about both the product and the customer experience. Again, very impressive...not a common find for such a small mountain town restaurant. Perfect family restaurant. Wood stove. Open beams. Few paintings. Cook/ chief from California culinary institute. Very impressive. Great place with totally handmade food. Possibly the best fish taco I've ever had, and the homebrewed beer is excellent. Cozy atmosphere and great service as well More...
Impressive little lunch menu and very tasty small batch beers. Bakery case displayed so many scrumptious looking desserts, I wished they had a sampler! Nice little cocktail bar selection, as well. Our server, Carol, was pleasantly helpful and friendly and made some great suggestions. Our table ordered fried pickles (next time am ordering their famed Brussels Sprouts), a well-balanced apple/walnut/goat cheese salad, tasty pork tacos, and a flatbread pizza with one of the best pizza doughs I’ve ever had in Colorado. Recommend them all! Tim served us our dessert and kept the hot coffee flowing. Our dense, fudgy chocolate cake (don’t recall which one!) was A+ and a perfect ending to one of the best, all-around lunch experiences I’ve ever had in Colorado. If you’re looking for a new place to try between Colorado Springs and the mountain towns, make a stop here. We can’t wait to return. Looking forward to relaxing on their patio in the warmer months. Great find and, appropriately, a true gem! More...

Clean, friendly staff. Food all made from scratch and most food brought in by local ranchers and farms, so fresh!! The inhouse brewed beer (Funky Town Brewery) was wonderful.

Very good food and beer! Will be back!
This little restaurant is the best kept secret west of Manitou Springs. They use real, fresh ingredients with balanced spices and, unlike the big chain restaurants, will cater to your requests and substitute glutten free items for bread and potatoes.
great food and staff and desserts
chicken & waffles Crazy good!

Great food & friendly service (thanks, Tim!). Beer wasn't half bad, either.
Unique dining experience in an unexpected atmosphere. Fabulous food, decadent desserts, and Micro Brews. Tim is fabulous!
Totally blown away by Iron Tree. We had no expectations or idea what kind of restaurant this was when we walked in. I was a bit skeptical when I first looked at the menu. Not knowing anything about the owners, it seemed a bit strange to have such carefully crafted, and unusual offerings at a spot in Florissant. When the food arrived, my hesitation disappeared. I ordered the beer cheese burger, my wife had croque monsieur, kids (2 and 3.5yo) had cheese curds and shared what we forfeit from our plates. Everything we ordered was amazingly prepared and masterfully conceived of. Yes, these folks are studied chefs, and their skill is so apparent. We ate everything that touched our table, we usually don't. We ate everything not because the portions were small as some have suggested and I disagree with, we ate it all because it was delicious. Sure, it took awhile for our food to arrive, but I would wait twice as long, especially since the wait was not a surprise. Price may seem high compared to some greasy spoon that you happen upon heading from point A to point B, but for what this place is, the price is in line, if not reasonable. Iron Tree is now a point B for us. Living in Denver, we will make Iron Tree a destination restaurant. More...
Fantastic restaurant/cafe. Friendly service, GREAT FOOD and really good coffee. You think it's a small quiet place but they are busy and have a big following for just having 1 year in business. They are doing great things out there and I love supporting their vision. Favourite place in the area by far More...
We celebrated my Moms birthday here & the staff really helped make it special. From the fun atmosphere, great service, to the special birthday dessert. Thank you Tim & gang!
I'm not sure why my original review never showed up, but we visited the lovely Iron Tree again this past week, and had the BEST experience! We adore Kristi, and felt like we were family there. The food was outstanding as always, and the service was well above average. Kristi is so funny and engaging, and she really cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. We loved her honesty! We will be back again and again! More...

We have a favorite cabin where we stay in Florissant, and because of that, we discovered the lovely Iron Tree Table & Taps!! We adore our favorite waitress, Kristi! She is so kind and funny and wonderful...and she consistently takes the BEST care of us. We would drive two hours from our home town just to visit with her and have an awesome meal! We highly recommend this restaurant! More...
Fantastic food and drinks! The atmosphere is really chill has a European/Country type of vibe. Be sure to ask for Tim.
Some of the best food we have had in Colorado and right in our neighborhood.
Brunch was great! Went in for breakfast on Sunday morning, went back 30 minutes before close to enjoy it again for a late lunch. Our waiter Tim was an absolute delight (and funny!); he offered to let us stay as long as we liked. Beer was great. Huevos rancheros was off the chart amazing, biscuits were equally as good. Hands down one of the best restaurants in the Teller County, Colorado area!!! More...
Excellent food and facility.
Tim was great!
What a lovely establishment! The menu was accessible and the food was a delight! Carol, our server, was an absolute treasure. If I had more stars I would give them. More...
They made us feel like family, the food was so amazing I didn't speak the entire time in was eating it, and the atmosphere was comfortable and fresh. We played a giant game of Connect 4! More...
This was the perfect place to stop for lunch before heading to Florissant Fossil Beds NM. Tim was a delight to talk to while we were there and he told us a lot of great things to do in the area. Oh, and how could I not mention how utterly delicious the food was!! If you get a chance check it out! More...
Great food. Not your Denny's type restaurant. Although the is a time and place for that. This place is genuine. EVERYTHING is made fresh, on site. Bacon is cured here. Pasties are made fresh. Kristy, our waitress was a delight. Definitely stop by. More...
Great service. Delicious food using quality ingredients. Tasty beer brewed on premises great find!
Enjoyed lunch here on Saturday. Wide range of choices on the menu. I had the Croque Monsieur sandwich... excellent! The owner is friendly and enthused, and the decor and artwork are fun. I'll definitely go again and again, and want to try breakfast and dinner here. More...

We loved it! We tried a few beers, burgers, pizza, and desserts! Everything tasted excellent, service was great, and the employees very friendly. Our kids had fun playing on the back patio too! We used to live right down the road and wish that this place was around back then. More...
So, we've been thinking of going to Iron Tree for several months, but hadn't until last night. The food was excellent; they brew incredible beer; they have Karen's favorite non-alcoholic beer; and I've never been to a restaraunt that I literally wanted to try EVERYTHING on the menu. But the thing that made it extra special was the quality staff. Do yourself a favor and get out there! More...
Food was alittle pricey for breakfast but worth every penny! My hubby had a giant pulled pork breakfast burrito smothered in green chili and I had the biscuits and gravy. Both were amazing and large portions! More...
This place is excellent! Amazing food, chill atmosphere and cool staff. Everything is made fresh and mostly locally sourced. The Funky Town beer os amazing too! If you're a tourist in a hurry, just chill out and relax or stay in the city if you cant hang. This isnt fast food. It's made with love and passion and sometimes that takes a minute. More...
Friends from the area suggested we try this place and we were not disappointed! Seriously the best beer we've had in a while. Went one afternoon and couldn't wait to go back the next evening. Tim was our waiter and he was so engaging we felt like we had been invited into the family. On the second night we had the brussel sprouts, tortilla soup and the brisket plate. All were amazing but I'm still in love with the pale ale. Don't miss this gem if you're in the area! More...
This was a great find in little Florissant. Fun staff and cute ambiance. The beer was really good, we were impressed. We split a burger and while the flavor was awesome it was a little crumbly (I didn't mind but my splitting partner did). The fries were a little disappointing. The Mac n cheese was creamy and yummy and the fried pickles were delicious I thought. I'd like to go back and try some more items! More...
Arrived shortly after opening and Ms Carol greeted us warmly with one of the best cups of coffee we've found in CO. The environment was warm, cozy and perfectly matched with the delicious, from scratch breakfast we enjoyed. Homemade butter perfectly complemented the scratch made bread and biscuit. The service couldn't have been better and it was one of the best breakfasts we've had. Highly recommend! More...
It's always so bittersweet this time of the year as we get together with friends whom we haven't seen all summer long because we just have busy lives and then all of sudden it's getting to that time of year that we need to head south for the winter. So we both have heard of the restaurant, Iron Tree in Florissant CO (off of Highway 24) but just have never gone because of our busy schedules... tonight was the night of getting together and checking out the restaurant... I will say the outside is rustic which I love and once inside, it's just purely amazing... right away you're picking out your dessert as it's displayed so nicely as you walk in.... the woodwork throughout is beautiful... it's not a big restaurant but just right as you can actually hear the other person talking... sometimes you go to a restaurant where you feel like you're yelling, not here... So both my husband and a friend are very comical sometimes and the waiter, Tim, gave it right back at them. He was AWESOME!!!!!!! Great customer service skills ... the entire staff was awesome... So it was time to order and granted they ran out of the BBQ ribs, three of us had the fish and fries and 4th had the Burger with the fried Shollots... plus we had to try the appetizers... fried avocado and Brussels .... everything you could tell was home-made. First, the fried avocado was amazing as we've never had that before. The sauce that comes with it did have a kick to it. For those, that can't have spice I would just try a more mild sauce or even ranch would be amazing with it. Second, the fried Brussels had blue cheese, bacon, mixed with a sweet/tangy sauce. Wowza!!!! Both appetizers were excellent and would order again.... Out came the entree's..... Fish & Fries and Burger... we all were so very excited. For the Fish dish, we received home-made French fries, cole slaw, tarter sauce, and 3-4 pieces of lightly breaded fish. I will say when I had my first bite of the fish, I said it was so "airy" which I meant very light and not heavily breaded... again another excellent dish ... the Burger which I didn't get to try but one of my friends had looked amazing as well. Needless to say, we all had "Happy Plates"..... I can't forget about the desserts.... like I said earlier, you will probably have that picked out before you sit down... so many to chose from... so my husband had the Chocolate Cake with ice cream and I had the Almond Cake. I won't go into detail on the desserts but will just say that we were in heaven.Enjoy all the wonderful dessert pictures taken tonight along with our appetizers & entrees and cannot wait until we come back next summer... Excellent breakfast, cozy atmosphere, and friendly/experienced service! Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere, good food and beer! Excellent service too.
Great atmosphere, and the food was shockingly good. If I had to guess, I'd say this menu is a labor of love and passion, not one designed to make $$. An incredible amount of work goes into everything they make from scratch. They were short-staffed when we arrived and we had to wait a while for the initial greeting, but they called in reinforcements and fixed the issue brilliantly. The baked goods we got out of the case on our way out were beyond delicious. The German chocolate cheesecake is something I will dream about until we find our way back there again. Speaking of which, we would make the drive from CO Spgs again just for this restaurant. More...
Stopped here with my dad and two young kids on the way to Cliff Jumping nearby, sometime in spring 2018. What a great surprise! Perfect food for anytime, awesome drink selection, and very hospitable and friendly owners. Our daughters actually got a chance to play together, which was also unexpected but fantastic. I wish it was local to CO Springs so I could go frequently. Florissant is blessed. Considering the time that's passed since, I'm surprised how well I can remember the details. I actually remember the restaurant more than the cliff jumping!!! Go. You'll be happy you made the choice. More...
Good home cooked meal and local beer
We love the Iron Tree. Great place to take the family.
Great food. Good atmosphere and they made sure we were taken care of even though it was busy.
On a recent trip through Colorado we found this gem of a place. Great wait staff and delicious food. We were greeted by Carol, with a friendly smile, and her knowledge of food allergens helped us with our menu choices. She went above and beyond, making us laugh, and making us feel like a local.I highly recommend Iron Tree to anyone traveling down hyway 24! More...

Excellent food and great fun!!
Wow -- great restaurant in Florissant. First time we've eaten there and very impressed by the food quality and variety of items on the menu. Service was excellent.
It was our first time, camping over labor day and felt like a good breakfast, it was really good! cant wait to have dinner and a beer next time.
Very good baked goods, the owners are careful with the details for a good meal. Very comfortable place to stop for breakfast, lunch or just a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll.
Great food, a little pricey, worth the stop!
Delicious, fresh food.
Love love love .
The best place ever! Options for everyone and the owners are the nicest people ever. Everything is from scratch and is very tasty!
You will have to salt your own food. And pepper it too. But it's worth it.
Absolutely excellent food. Takes a bit longer, but you can see why when you bite into it. We had burgers and their cheese kurds. Everything was homemade and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely return in the future. More...
Great food and service. Friendly stag and nice environment.
A friend And I stopped in for a late lunch at Iron Tree after some climbing in Eleven Mile. We checked out the menu first because friend eats and I’m a vegetarian. Plenty of options for both of us. The restaurant is cheerfully decorated and really comfortable. There is outside seating which looked just as welcoming. The staff is super nice! Our server, Zack, was friendly and informative. He told us that, with a few exceptions, everything they serve is made in house from scratch. We also spoke to the baker who just finished a big wedding cake. She was getting ready to deliver it. It was decorated like the trunk of an aspen. So cool and creative!Friend ordered a burger (beef ground in house) with a side salad. He said the burger was excellent. The greens in the salad were crisp and fresh and the dressing super tasty. I ordered a black bean burger with tomato, lettuce and a chipotle aioli on wheat bread. The slices of bread (made in house) were perfectly toasted with great flavor and texture. The burger was outstanding, great texture and perfectly seasoned. Clean plate club!Zack had mentioned that they even brew beer. He gave us a taste of the Scottish ale. It was super smooth. Friend and I are already planning to come back for beer, dinner, breakfast and the delicious looking pastries in the case! More...
Best food in Teller county! The server told us it was a scratch kitchen, and it made all the difference. Everything tasted fresh, and was prepared perfectly. They're house brews are fantastic! I highly recommend trying a flight. If you want a tasty, filling, fresh meal there's no where else to go than here. More...
The pie was amazing and their food was pretty good. Will defiantly stop by here more often.
Best breakfast I have had in forever. Bakery is excellent...cinnamon rolls are heaven... Lunch was fantastic and more that I could eat and sooooo reasonably priced. These two young adults are hard working and definitely going to be very successful. Congratulations on a wonderful restaurant. More...
Great service and the best cinnamon rolls.
Excellent food, atmosphere, and decor. Total hidden gem! We'll be back.
Very good food. Open kitchen. Very clean only negative is that they want their tip upon ordering not giving you a chance to rate their service first. Luckily, it's good so far.
Great service, the atmosphere was very nice, the food was good. Worth a try for sure
Absolutely loved this little gem right off the main road. The entire property, inside and out is adorably decorated. Our lunch was delicious and you could tell the ingredients were all super fresh!! Loved how they had mini board games you can play while you wait for your food and their self serve water/coffee station is pretty sweet too. What can I say, this place is simply amazing and that’s not even counting their bakery!! Had to get a triple fudge brownie on the way out to split with two friends and it was the best brownie we have all ever had More...

Relaxed, fun and delicious food. No frilly coffee, but check out that pastry counter! Note closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Cool restaurant .Owned and run by two young entrepreneurs. Food and Bakery good's excellent . Can't wait to get back. If you don't like this restaurant you Gotta be the competition.
Great food. Friendly service. Very unique atmosphere. Will be back.
100% the best place to eat in the entire area. The food is amazing, filling and just a wow every time. Unlike the coffee shop across the street they have more than paninis and stale muffins. The pastries are fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend going to visit, eat and come back again. We live a mile away, and make it a point to go because it's great everything. More...
We found this little gem based on a lunch recommendation from a local a couple weeks back and knew we had to return to try the breakfast. Both were delicious, fresh and unique. We loved that their food was not over-salted and their service was fantastic. The kids menu could be a bit more standard... I appreciated the culinary creativity of a toasted PB&J, but my kiddos were not fans of the ‘crunchy’ bread. They had no problems with the tasty home made chips though! We will definitely be going back. More...
A surprise in Florisant

My boyfriend said the burger was the BEST he's ever had. I had the brisket sandwich. Everything was really god, they have a great atmosphere and service was decent. There's a middle aged guy thay bumbles around and is super annoying... I think he's the owner? Either way he means well and the food is good. I plan on going back. More...

Our first visit won't be our last!!
Since I visited the first time, I have come back several times, usually on the weekends. I have had the Chicken and waffles which were superb. The chicken is tender and perfectly seasoned with a satisfying crunch. The waffles had a faint sweetness and wonderful soft texture. I enjoyed it. I have also had the Cheese Board, which features various imported cheeses paired with their breads (the Challah is to die for!) and honey comb. It was delicious, even my picky 3 year old ate it. I ordered their Tacos and their Macaroni and Cheese. The tacos were like a street taco you would get in San Diego, just missing some Elotes haha! As far as the macaroni and cheese, WOW. That was some comfort food in the bowl. A creamy cheese with hints of green onion and garlic, and bits of crunch from the hash browns mixed in. And the fried egg to top it off- my son said "My taste buds are exploding!". Now At this point, I have had several of their cookies and baked goodies as well as their cinnamon rolls and cheesecake- all en pointe. And what I expect when I pay what I pay for them. But let's get to the beverages. The espresso is presented beautifully in a clean porcelain cup appropriate for espresso, but with a candy swizzle stick. What a nice surprise!I love all their fresh brewed loose leaf teas, which is imported by the owners brother. The Dark Rose is so authentic, I had to buy them to take them home! The Kombucha was so refreshing. I came from a place I could make it for home and buy off the tap where ever I went and I could drink some bubbly flavors without killing my blood sugar. Whatever they are doing is legit, because my blood sugar was stable after drinking their Kombucha. The staff is always welcoming and remember the things we talked about from the last visit. I have a tendency to make requests and I recently requested a special cake made for me and the owner agreed to make it. I love their willingness and openness to improve. I will surely be coming back, over and over! More...

The absolute best of everything!
Tasty little spot with gluten free options and handmade treats. Good decision on our drive through. Would stop back by and recommend it to others.
Best eggs Benedict ever! I was extremely pleased with the service and the meal. We were able to play a game of corn hole while we waited for our food. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was dangerously delicious. My freind got the chicken and waffles which were well portioned and very tender. 10/10 would recommend! More...

Fast and friendly service, super nice owners. Food was really good, I had the burger and fries. Burger was good, could use a little more taste, the bun was excellent and the fries rocked. There are not a lot of place in Teller county that have this kind of promise. I hope they stay around for a long time! More...
I’ve only been once so far, but here is my experience. This place is a meat-eater’s delight, which means the menu choices are thin on the ground for vegetarians. I tried a sandwich, and asked that the ham be left off, but alas, it came with piles of thick ham that I had to remove before I could eat my sandwich. I particularly hate ham, so that was a bit annoying. The cheese sauce also soaked into the bread making it soggy—so maybe not such a good idea for sandwiches. They also forgot my coffee order, but we all make mistakes, so no demerits for that.I do think that there are some good cooks in the kitchen, and this place has much potential. The staff are friendly, and the place has a nice atmosphere. I will return and try something else next time. More...

Gorgeous place! I highly recommend it. The lodge is gorgeous
This is the perfect place for a beautiful Colorado mountain wedding! Everything is gorgeous - from the forest to the lodge to the stunning views of Pike's Peak!
I just celebrated my wedding at TihsreeD Lodge and I am so happy this was the location we picked! We had 90 guests who all felt welcome, comfortable, and we're amazed by the beauty of the location. Tony and Don helped every step of the way, anywhere an extra hand was needed. Our wedding day coordinators, caterer, and photographer had everything they needed. It all made for a stress free wedding day! I could focus on the important things...like saying I Do and dancing the night away! The venue is warm, cozy and perfect for a mountain getaway!! More...
My husband and I, along with 5 other couples, spent three days in this beautiful place. We enjoyed ourselves immensely - hiking, shooting both archery and pistols, hitting some golf balls, but most of all we just enjoyed the quiet beauty of the lodge and spectacular views offered. Don and Toni were on property to offer any assistance needed but never infringed on our gathering. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for luxury, quiet, breathtaking views, and access to a variety of Colorado ' s attractions. More...
My husband and I just recently had our picture perfect wedding at the Tihsreed Lodge. We were joined by both of our families and our closest friends for a week of wedding festivities. We used the lodge and reception barn for a welcome dinner/Colorado beer tasting, rehearsal dinner and the wedding ceremony/reception! Don and Toni were awesome through the whole entire process from the planning, setting up, and day of organization. We could not have asked for a better place to show our families how wonderful and beautiful Colorado is! More...
