If youre looking for a high quality food, a cozy atmosphere, in a quieter setting, this is the place to go. Located outside of the downtown core, this gem doesnt attract as many of the rowdy crowds as some of the pubs on 10th. The food is exceptional; fantastic selection, high quality meats, and breads, all for a great deal. Had the Game Meat burger; easily beat the Wolfs Den in Golden in terms of quality, and taste.The food however, is only in second place, when compared to the staff. Friendly, approachable, welcoming and providing, I have been to few establishments that have had service staff to this quality.Would highly recomend this restaurant to anyone thats hungry in the area. If youre passing through, and are a bit hungry, this is definitely worth a stop.Will be coming back the next time I am in town! More...

My husband and i are visiting from Pensacola, Florida! This was our first place we came to eat and we had a fantastic impression! Our servers name was, Will. He was very kind and took his time to go over the menu with us. He made sure we got the perfect window seat for the perfect view! I had the meat loaf and usually i despise meatloaf, but this was the BEST meatloaf i have ever eaten. We also had the warm brie and the pulled pork sliders for an appetizer! My husband and I ate here last night and we loved it! I got the beef burger, which was delicious. My husband got the coconut shrimp salad and was very happy with it. I also had the Big Rock cider on tap and I loved it, I'm a bit sad I won't be able to buy it in Ontario. We shared the coffee cheesecake for dessert, which was pretty good. Great hidden bar inside Canmore. You can see the view of Ha Ling Peak from in the restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice amd the food is good. The duck wings were really nice and we had to order another round. I didn't like the pulled pork sliders as much but they were ok. My husband and I went after a hike. We were greeted friendly, and seated right away. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was awesome. I had the best hamburger I ever ate. It was delicious. My husband had the Canadian pizza it was very good. The French fries were fresh and tasted like real potatoes.
