The food was good and the rice and peas were perfect. My only concern was that I paid $20 for this small meal. I figured with the price there would be more food considering that at other places I've usually paid about $10-$15 for an entree, rice and peas, cabbage/steamed veggies, a veggie patty and drink. Anytime I eat Caribbean it's enough to last me two meals. This particular meal was gone in 5 bites. More...

Since I wasn't able to get my fix from another Caribbean restaurant, this one was able to deliver and had all menu items like proper establishments should! I ordered what I thought would be particular and it was nicely welcomed and they were happy to do it. I really love that. I ordered oxtail and cabbage  and it was delish! Also ordered a beef patty. It was good, I do prefer them crispy flakey style but it was certainly still yummy. It's located at the bottom of an office building, nicely renovated inside, clean and welcoming. They didn't have fresh squeezed juices but that's ok, the food and the lady who seemed to be the owner have me as a solid customer. More...

Honestly the best cornmeal porridge you will find in Atlanta. It took me forever to finally get into Irie Mon because they are pretty far from me but when I did, it was a Sunday. You won't believe it but they give you complimentary porridge on Sunday's. I almost cried! It was free and amazing. I went back two days later and ordered more porridge and brown stew chicken. All were so good. I will definitely be going Irie mon often. More...

Come here for your fix of authentic and absolutely delicious Jamaican fare! I go to Jamaica several times a year and pretty familiar with Jamaican cuisine. Irie Mon Cafe went above and beyond any of my expectations. I ordered the oxtail with a side of peas and rice, cabbage and plantains. The oxtail was perfect -- tender, juicy and the stew was so tasty. They even gave me a free beef patty which was out of this world. The service here is so friendly and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes! More...

I got the stewed chicken through postmates (came earlier than expected) the chicken could have had a little more gravy but the meat was literally falling off of the bone. Even without the extra gravy, the chicken wasn’t dry at all. The rice and peas and cabbage were also really good but standard sides for a Jamaican spot. I’m definitely looking forward to trying out other things on their menu. More...

Stopped here for brunch on a Saturday. The location is a little tricky and we had to ask around to get directed to the right building. We were pleased that there wasn't a line and we ordered immediately. The food came out promptly, was good and fresh. Everything was good for the most part , although the jerk chicken was a little bit dry and the curry goat could use a little more curry and flavor. I'd go back again to try some other items.
