I have been with this practice, as an NHS patient, since 1966, when I left teacher training college and returned to Ipswich in need of dental care. At that time, the practice was situated in Northgate Street, next to the library, which is probably why I chose it, and the dentist was Mr Martin. Mr Graham soon took over and, eventually, the practice moved to Berners Street, where it has been ever since. When Mr Graham retired the practice was run by Mr Witherley, who I still see every six months. During those 52 years, I have lived in Wolverhampton (Staffordshire), Kessingland (Suffolk) and, for the last 15 years, Loddon (Norfolk) but it has always been worthwhile to remain with this excellent, friendly practice where the care is tender and emergencies treated as such. My teeth were not blessed in childhood but thanks to this practice I still have them in my mouth today. More...
