I don't know if people give awards for best repair shops, but if they did, this place would get it. When my phone stopped working I brought my phone here to be looked at. The gentleman I worked with kept me updated about where he was in the diagnosis process and walked me through the repairs he would like to do. When I told him that I had to go to dinner on the other side of town, he offered to bring me my phone on his way home. It was only $5 more expensive than buying the parts online and trying to do it myself, and it was way worth it since it was fixed in 30 minutes (within an hour of cracking the screen). I made an appointment to have the charging port replaced as my phone wasn't charging.  When I arrived John took a quick look at the phone, and removed a wad of lint from the port, and tested it and sure enough it is charging without an issue! ! I broke my phone yesterday while at work. It wasn't the first time I cracked my screen so I know the deal already . Set up an appointment with apple (which is normally days away because they are always booked up) I couldn't wait that long so I looked up places to fix my phone I was willing to spend a little extra (I normally pay 159 at the apps store) but I came across iPhone air and seen that it was only 129. After a recent Apple update, my iPhone 6 went from speedy, efficient and long-lasting to sluggish, frustrating and battery-draining.  I was lucky if my iPhone would last an hour before dying.  I'm quite certain this is how Apple helps to hasten the demise of each older model!  Luckily, during a quick trip to Baltimore, I found iPhone Aid on Federal Hill (downtown).  I was easily able to schedule an appointment online even before my flight left Ft. Lauderdale for Baltimore, and quickly received a confirmation.  I arrived 30 minutes early, but John (the owner) was able to immediately work me in.  A half hour later, I strolled out with my IPhone back to its previous lightning-fast running condition after John installed a new battery.  Charge: $59...much cheaper than a new iPhone!!!!  John is truly an iPhone repair expert and I highly recommend him!!! Had my battery replaced after a kiosk in a mall installed a faulty batter and would recommend IPhoneAid Federal Hill 100% over going to Apple Store or anywhere else. Owner is extremely knowledgeable, very easy to work with, and making and KEEPING a reservation is extremely convenient. Took my son's iphone 6S to be repaired. Was done in 20 minutes. This is my third repair here.  I would not take my iphones anywhere but here.  Absolutely terrific, customer oriented business.  Easy website to make an appointment, parking even on Ravens game day was not a problem.  The difference of iPhoneAid and a mall kiosk is that iPhoneAid actually is a business that is building and has a reputation. This is why I love web reviews -- how else would I have found this place? I exchanged two texts with John in which he confirmed he could tackle our phone's problem but it might not be enough. We took it in the same day, he did a quick test and said yes, it would work just to fix the screen. Within half an hour, we were happily on our way home. My screen was completely shattered, and I couldn't use my phone. After going to the Sprint store and being told that they would have to wipe all of the data off my phone before sending it out for repair, I found iPhoneAid online. Just when I was starting to think the world is becoming an ugly place where making a buck trumps honesty and integrity in business, I take my phone in to iPhone Aid. I was fully prepared to pay the price for fixing the broken glass. It certainly looked broken. It even felt broken with tiny chips of glass near one of the cracks. The owner examined it for a minute and said it looked like the protective cover was broken, not the actual glass. I had no idea that extra protective "sticker" I purchased with the phone is actually a razor thin slice of tempered glass. He carefully removed it and sure enough, the glass below was as good as new. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. He even put a new protective "sticker" on the phone. When I asked what I owed him, he said, "Nothing. That's how we do business. This place is fantastic, treats your phone well and the service is impeccable.John, the owner, is fast, courteous, and most importantly knowledgable about how to fix your phone! I even had speakerphone issues that lingered for months and I kept forgetting to drive in and have diagnosed. John was happy to take a look when I walked in months later, and found a piece of gunk/glass in the speakerphone (using a microscope!) that he carefully removed and all worked fine. fWish I hadn't dawdled so long to bring it back to him!
