Went here tonight for a birthday meal . The chicken stroganoff was amazing and the desserts were delicious. 10/10 The staff was very welcoming and lovely to see Chris behind the bar . Highly recommend it here guys ❤️

Found out about this place on a Facebook post, decided to investigate as the online photo's looked great. The food was amazing, my son had a child's burger and chips and would have easily fed an adult, the chips were the best I've tasted in a long time, crispy on the outside and light and fluffy in the middle, I could have eaten them all but I don't think my son would have been impressed. I had the chicken salad and garlic bread and my mum had the mussels, she was very impressed with them and the portion size. One item was missed off my order but this was rectified quickly. The staff were friendly and attentive and I will definitely be returning soon with my husband. A great little find with amazing views to top it off. More...

Hadn't been here since it has been redecorate, looks brilliant. Some of the best views from the seating outside, truly beautiful. Lovely Sunday Veggie roast and really well presented, very nicely cooked. Had a walk along the beach and then returned for coffee. Staff are excellent too. Will visit again soon More...

I first visited this lovely pub on a last minute trip to Downderry. I only brought my girls in for some chips but the staff were amazingly friendly. my daughter hurt her hand and the lovely waitress got her a tea towel with ice and was so willing to help. And the view on a sunny summers day over the decking is amazing! Ate there with partner today- both had pizza which I thoroughly enjoyed, perfectly cooked just how I like my pizza. I would 100% recommend this establishment as both a pub and for their accommodation My partner and i stayed for a weekend in one of their en-suite rooms. The room was beautifully decorated and felt immaculately clean, all of the staff were very well mannered,polite and welcoming from the moment we arrived. If you have ever been here before and have mixed thoughts (ie it’s good to stop for a pint having walked the dog etc etc.. ...come again, newly refurbished, new Menu, new Chef (food to die for)!!!! Great location! Lovely views! We asked for a table in the restaurant but they couldn’t accommodate as they had a large booking due, we were never asked to be seated in the bar where as the group behind us were. This made us feel unwelcome

Newly refurbished and with new tenants. The food and service were great and the range of drinks extensive. Mostly though it has a fantastic atmosphere and amazing views with Looe Island one way and Rame Head the other. Top place to sit in the sun
